Our Individual Beliefs Create Our Collective Evolution

During my latest break, I spent a few days in a SPA hotel. Just spoiling myself, being out in nature, and letting my thoughts come and go. At one point, I noticed being completely relaxed and detached from any agenda or news. I read a bit in Neal Donald Walsch’s book “What God Said”. I think I only made it through a page when I laid the book aside and asked myself what I actually believe. What do I believe about my role here in connection to every person? And what do I believe about my connection to God? Instantly, I felt the need to write everything down that started coming up like an eruption of a volcano. What you read in the following are my unfiltered thoughts in the exact order I wrote them down.

I don’t believe that God is over there and I am over here or that God is up there and I am down here.
I believe wherever I am, there is God, and wherever God is, there I can be.
I believe I am part of God since creator and creation are one.
I believe this regarding everything there is.
That’s why I believe we are connected to everyone and everything there is through that divine energy.

I don’t believe that any of us occurred by chance.
I believe that every one of us is part of a gigantic evolutionary process.
We need that process to find out one single thing: We Are One
You are I, and I am You

I believe that as long as one believes they are there and we are here, the process is still in progress.
I believe we are only particles of one all-encompassing energy, partly incarnated to feed the whole with experience.
I believe there is only oneness, and the thought of separation may be the biggest misunderstanding we have to dissolve while everything else solves itself.

If we believe in a God, a higher intelligence, the universe (or whatever name we use) separated from us, we give up responsibility because then it is God who will or will not support, act, heal, or change things. If people believe they are at God’s mercy, they forget that they have come here to create, to experience, to learn, to live. Then God will always be the excuse when things don’t work out for them.

So, if we have the choice to believe in whatever we want to believe in, why follow a man-created image like a brainwashed herd? The rules we hear have not been set by God but by people. We know our own truth, and that is the one we need to follow. That truth is tailored to each individual to serve themselves and the collective. Be you to support yourself and the whole construct in its development. What you believe will lead you there.

If I want to feel joy, I need to think and act in ways that bring out the joy in me… and God will be with me.
If I want to be worried, I need to think and act in ways that make me worried… and God will be with me.
Even if I choose to bring pain and desperation onto others… God will be with me.
Whatever I do, God will be with me because I am part of Him and He is part of me. Also, I have free will to experience myself the way I choose to. Only through free will natural development is possible. It has nothing to do with leaving us alone, letting violence and wars happen, or letting people starve or die from diseases. Free will is necessary to keep this “gigantic evolutionary process” of which we are part as particles of ONE energy in motion.

In Love and Light

P.S. This is what I believe wholeheartedly today. Please believe what makes sense to you, and keep your belief adjustable since we develop and evolve at every moment. Just look back in your life. What worked well for you ten years ago does not necessarily work anymore today. The same happens to our beliefs. Don’t let anyone tell you you are believing in the wrong things. No one really knows… we all believe. And that is what matters.

Haha, how do I follow something like this Erika 🤣 Touched every point beautifully, I think your seat in nature ‘opened’ to you a lovely awareness, something I hope we all touch at some point in our lives to go beyond what we were, into that place beyond it, that ‘knowing’ so that we can truly give from that love found. Beautifully said kind lady, your light is shining brightly 😀❤️🙏
And I think that ‘separateness’ we all seem to feel…is so we can ask ourselves… ‘why do I feel so alone, lost or isolated’ in our lives…and dare to go beyond it and find that very place you speak of. Feeling one side to understand the other, that place that we ‘think’ we are separated from…but is gently waiting inside us to see it in all its glory…’the kingdom of heaven does indeed lay within us’. Thank you again Erika…this was just beautiful 😀❤️🙏

Detaching from the daily noise can work wonders. I felt this oneness again, and only realized how much I missed it. In oneness we find peace – our own and world peace. Love is oneness because love knows no separation. Love welcomes and unites. And since love is the origin of all that is, separation is just an illusion.
Thank you for the words you added so straight from your heart, dear Mark 💖

Deep inside we know our truth, and that truth is the only one that matters to reach higher awareness.
Awh, now I am excited too. I hope you like it and that it becomes a good companion for you, dear Maria Teresa. I am happy that my book has a home at my soul sister’s 💖

Erika, good quotes and thoughtful piece. Well done. I think Lennon’s “Imagine” is one of the finest songs ever written. Written in simple language, he urges us to treat each other better regardless of what you believe. The title is so apt “Imagine.” He is not saying this is, he is just saying imagine it.

I saw a quote, I think on Elena’s blog of quotes, where it said something like you need to have faith in something to make ideas happen. Without, people would not try new things. Keith

Exactly, simply imagine. And by that you get the feeling of “how it would be or feel”. And that is the motivation to go for what is needed to manifest the imagination.
And good quote! I agree, it needs that inner conviction and pushing a fire that burns to make an inner picture visible. It is always risky but that is what life is about: Trying new things and make experiences through them.
Thank you, Keith!

This is so beautifully profound, Erika. What a powerful realization you had and you expressed it in such a glorious way. I grew up in a religion that taught God was separate and judging us constantly. What a crock! I love the path life has taken me to unlearn the false teachings and to realize exactly were God resides and indeed there is no separation. Even the Bible has a scripture that expounds this with “the kingdom of Heaven lies within.” What an incredible experience we’ve been given the opportunity to have. Thank you for sharing! I feel the oneness connection! Hugs!

The same “school” I went through (Catholic church). Yes, here is God, and follow “His” rules to go to heaven one day. Unfortunately, religions teach ONE way for everyone. But there are countless ways for even only one. It is the personal belief that guides you fast and profoundly on your path. Believing what others want you to believe only triggers lessons to go your own way.

Thanks for quoting the Bible. This actually says it! Thank you, Jan 💖

What a profound and beautiful thought filled post Erika… And you know I LOVE NDW.. and have all of his books.. 😀
I totally agree… God isn’t out there, or separate in any way… God, Creator, Source or who ever is the title we give our Divine Creator , is in ALL things…

I loved your muse as you wrote down your own thoughts on how God is connected to you.. and your beliefs..
I also so resonated with this sentence

“We know our own truth, and that is the one we need to follow. “….. If we truly link into our hearts, we intuitive KNOW ….

Lovely Muse dear Erkia… Your break away at the Spa served you well ❤
Sending love and Blessings my friend ❤ xx

It definitely did, and I thought I should do it much more often 😂
I was sure you would feel a lot similar of what I wrote here. Belief is somthing so personal and therefore so important to follow it on one hand and to grant it others on the other hand. As you said, then we intuitively know and follow our personal signposts.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, Sue. There is so much love in your words. Much love to you, dear friend 💖
