Many (or maybe most) people see God (or however you want to name Him, I prefer the term “universe”) as a separate entity. That is why religions have such power over their “sheep” since God is an individual power we are helplessly at His mercy. This separation is the main difficulty to align with love. As I understand and feel it, EVERYTHING is one. God is the only “thing”, the only energy, that exists. We and everything we see, hear, and feel are part of this only energy. His energy has split into countless parts, a universe, planets, minerals, and different life forms. But it is still ONE. We are ONE! We may have free will and separate bodies, but that is only the visible side. Nevertheless, we are ONE. Nothing can be lost because it is part of this universe – of God. We exist because God experiences Himself through everyone and everything. That is why everything that happens is orchestrated to perfectly connect different situations and experiences. We are God experiencing Himself in different stories. If so, why are we afraid to experience, try, and explore? God is eternal, and so are we. God is immortal. God cannot be harmed. That which we really are is safe!

Many years ago, I joined a workshop by an angel medium. She explained that all souls are actually one soul. When one being incarnates, a scoop is taken of that soul pool to give life to that being. That makes even more sense now when we think that everything is God. Also, the presence of soulmates makes more sense since we may have shared or are sharing the same soul genes that way. Therefore we must honor everyone and ourselves and not a gracious or punishing figurine presented by religion. God is alive through us. God is present through us. God is at work in us. Once we are willing or dare to see the God in everyone any idea of separation disappears and we finally realize this oneness and its enormous creative power. We realize that only in union we can create and change everything for the better.

Once we understand that separation is an illusion we can finally drop the curtain of distortion and let our light shine in all its brightness. Recognizing and feeling the God in us with all the unlimited abilities is only a natural consequence. That is when real enlightenment happens… at least that is what I think believe.
