What Shall Reign This World?

I believe this world we see
Is more of sun than rain
When even some hurt one another
There are more to heal the pain

The worst of all deeds sadly happen
‘Cause some can’t help themselves
Whatever made them do those things
We’re called to reach our hands

If we throw hatred against them
Hatred will only worsen
Maybe they only did their deeds
Because no one would listen

Ignorance and exclusion
Has never led to peace
What we need are open hearts
To make all violence cease

It’s not the others, it is us
Who are to blame for pain
‘Cause everyone’s responsible
 If it is love that we let reign
