Why?

Why is it that once my life is under control, something outside happens that affects it again? Why appear the same problems over and over again although, I thought I got it? Why is there so much suffering and injustice in this world? Why can’t we see that we are destroying this planet and are about to extinguish our own species? Why???

As the header quote says: Everything that happens happens for the reason to grow in our awareness. Because that is why we are here. We were not sent here from a God who thought it would be fun seeing us struggling and fighting each other. But we wanted to experience a physical life to learn through its opposites.

The soul itself is light. But as light, surrounded by light, how can you recognize your own light? How can you recognize your own greatness when everything around you is great? How can you recognize your magical power when you are constantly surrounded by magic? We want to remember who we are and reconnect with what feels like a memory deep within us. We want to come home again. I believe the soul still needs to evolve. Otherwise, how could it not recognize who it is? So we need a place that makes us see. The only way to see light is to surround it with darkness. The only way to remember is to forget the past completely. The only way to feel our own power is to disconnect from the power supply for a moment. And that is why we have a mind that keeps us in the illusion of separation. Welcome to planet earth.

From birth on, you are guided towards your big goal to rediscover something profound about the being inside your body. In each incarnation, we reveal something and create karma as preparation for the revelations in the next incarnation. Btw., there is nothing like bad or good karma. Karma is simply the consequence of everything we do. And that is what teaches us to keep it going or rather don’t repeat it anymore. In realizing what you don’t want (anymore), you figure out where your road may lead.

So, what works in the small world of a single individual also works in the collective. We are co-creating and working through the karma of the past. The terrible things some people still do to others leave most of us with an uncomprehending head shake. We cannot believe how this can still be possible that human beings can be so cold and brutal. We cannot believe why so many still don’t care about our suffering planet. But everything that happens today is only the result of what happened before. So, in case there was too little awareness, and we get the full dose of the consequences provided by a crash curse in a short period. It did not happen because God doesn’t care or because he likes seeing us running around like headless chickens. He is the only one who knows fully why we are where we are. And He is the only one who completely knows that we need this all to get the insight we wished to receive to remember who we really are. God is the only one who clearly knows that absolutely nothing can ever happen to those beings dressed with physical bodies.

We all down here support each other on this journey with our “good” and “bad” deeds. That doesn’t mean to accept call the bad ones good ones. But we realize the important role each one of us has in order to support one another’s development. As I said before, we are all connected. Maybe the last lesson that leads to the ultimate awareness is to understand that we are not many but only one power. Maybe we need to remember that it is not about the individual but the collective awakening that leads to remembering who we (all) really are: one consciousness. It makes so much more sense now when I so often say that only together we can make it. Again: separation is an illusion.

That makes me think further. When there is no separation and only one consciousness exists then maybe we are not children of God. What if we are God spread in particles to experience Himself through them in this and any other world all at once? Why would He challenge himself like that if he didn’t see the bigger picture? I don’t know but it sounds intriguing.

Why?
Because we wanted a free will
Out of which we rediscover over time

who we really are

P.S. Please note when I use the term “God”, it has no religious meaning. Therefore, I prefer to use “universe” instead of “God”. Also, because the term “God” is a personification that automatically creates an idea of separation: Him and us. To me, it’s the same. But I know that some can identify better with the term “God”.

If I understood something then it is that we all are in this here together to get out of this here together. And since we cannot be separated from each other anyway, we must finally understand that no one only decides for themselves. It always affects more – in any way. So, let’s don’t lament about what was or what is but create what we want to have…💖

Amen to that, and well said my friend. Are you having one of those epiphany moments in your life, where you look at things and touch something that leaves you in a very profound moment in touching it? 😀❤️🙏🏽

That does happen, Mark. Sometimes simple things which aren’t simple at all. There can be so much depth in touching a tree, by observing a butterfly or a bee, or in watching a sunset which carries so many messages. Thank you for reminding me of those moments that we all can experience every day.

Another insightful and profound post as you share with us your thoughts Erika..
Suffering is something I have struggled with and still do….. How could God let this happen,, Why, why oh why…. yes we ask those questions often…
Yet we are not always understanding the bigger picture or understand the blue-print of an incarnation that enables that soul to progress. Or indeed how through their own suffering that soul may enable millions more to progress by learning the lessons of compassion and empathy..
So your words here rang true when you said

” It did not happen because God doesn’t care or because he likes seeing us running around like headless chickens. He is the only one who knows fully why we are where we are. And He is the only one who completely knows that we need this all to get the insight we wished to receive to remember who we really are. God is the only one who clearly knows that absolutely nothing can ever happen to those beings dressed with physical bodies.

And that is the illusion, we came to experience.. and we cannot experience one within duality in this reality without the other.. So Good bad and the ugly come hand in hand within this 3D density… And our bodies are houses in which our soul evolves..

I was told years ago by one spirit guide that this world in its density of 3D is one of the hardest planets in which we who volunteer to come here to learn is the harshest of lesson teachers.. But one of the quickest ways in which we can evolve …. And that those who come to bare these densities and frequencies are deemed brave.

I am reminded of Delores Cannon who said.
” Earth is a School for Mastering now to manipulate Energy, Many other planets have easier courses of learning, The Earth School is the most difficult in the Universe — only the bravest souls sign on for this assignment”~ Delores Cannon….

Why??????……. Why Not! 🙂

Much love dearest Erika…. ❤ ❤ ❤ So enjoyed reading ❤

I have never thought this far and never considered earth as the toughest place of education. That is amazing. So, I am even more thankful that I am here on earth. It made me smile because… it can only become better… lol
But seriously, yes, we need all impressions to get the whole picture. And we need to understand that it is of no use to ignore those we don’t like. We need to learn to accept what is and embrace it all by undestanding that right that is the lesson to be learned.

What you said here made me think of the Wheel of Life (Buddhism). Depending on how you lived you are born into a higher or lower life form. And in that life form have an easier or more difficult life.
Is it a free decision to incarnate on earht or is there a karmic background (too). I am just thinking.

That’s what I always love to say: “Why… Not?!”

Thank you so much for this intereseting and deep look beneath, Sue 💖

Thanks for the empowerment, Erika! All this makes great sense. Reading the word or about “Karma” there comes always a funny meme in my mind. Two German shepherd dogs beside eachother. One has a speech bubble with the outspeak “May Karma never bite you in da ass!”, and the other a sign “I am Karma”. Lol xx Michael

Oh, yes, good one! We need to be more conscious when talking and even thinking. Thoughts become words; words become actions; actions become experience; from experience, we create our thoughts… let’s be careful what we think and consider stepping back to break a vicious circle and create good karma. Thank you, Michael!

Hmm, yes, more “together” and “for each other” may create some really good vibes in the political world that would lead to more unity in this world…

Unfortunately there will always be incomprehensible acts in the world but we cannot allow that to damper our seasons of goodness when things are going well. We cannot ignore life but we can do our best to spread good and kindness along our journey.

Exactly, life teaches, and how we react and act, is what shapes the individual who will always find its insights that way. The worst things push us the most towards our own salvation.

The ego must have enormous power that holding on to hate and unforgiveness can be so rooted. You said that well, Keith, in the end, the hater destroys themselves. Because who is more feeling hate, the one who sends it out or the one it is meant for… hate eats one up. Thank you for this input, Keith.

Erika, thanks. Some guy who was beaten and put on a cross to die could have easily hated his abusers. Yet, he said forgive them for they know not what they do. That is a lesson for us all. Keith

There is no better example, Keith! Yes, it is only a matter of unawareness. That way, we stop taking things personally. So, let’s try to follow that guy’s example as good as possible.

This is such a thought-provoking post, Erika. There are many things about being in this human body we don’t understand, and as my late husband used to say, “maybe we aren’t supposed to know it all yet.” But one thing you said really resonated with me. If we are pure light surrounded by pure light, we can’t see it. Only in the darkness can a light shine. Thank you for this lovely awakening post today! I’m going to shine!

Absolutely, sometimes we are not supposed to know. It would either make no sense to us or we would miss the insight otherwise.
Jan, just FYI, you are such a shining light that brightens our days here. I don’t just say so but I am really thankful that I met you here. Never forget how beautiful you sparkle in all colors or the rainbow. Much love to you ✨💖✨
