The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.
I agree, it actually is. Sometimes some wounds are deep and you don’t want anyone to see them or any weak spots. Then it happens unconsciously and you begin to distance from yourself more and more over time. It is a long way to find out you played a role but then it is a tremendous liberation. Of course, there are a lot of reasons why people wear masks. Thanks for the inspiration, Jan 💖
Yes, well said. It is not always a bad behavior behind that all. Wounds, traumas, dissappointments, simply a low self-esteem (as you said), can cause it unconsciously.
I just thought that social media even supports this attitude. It is so easy to hide or pretend to be someone else… only to distract from their issues. It is more comfortable than to face them.
So, did I, Sis. Like changing the outfit I had a mask at hand for the different people or situations. Interesting that we all have been there… but now one knew. This is part of the illusion.
So true, and we always have to remember this fact. Masks down, and muzzles too. 🙂 xx Michael

It’s so much easier to be who I am than to try and pretend to be someone different. Thank you for sharing, Erika!

I’ve met people who will never allow us to see their faces again, literally and figuratively. 👀🍃

Sad but true. It was a big part of my life’s work to coordinate masks with situations.

Gosh, same over here. So, who knows, maybe we met before not knowing it was you and I behind our masks 😂
