#HitsByYears – 1984

Let’s continue with the hard choices of this fantastic music year! You will find famous songs that are still played on the radio today, and others that may have been forgotten over the years.

Oh Sherrie – Steve Perry

Jump – Van Halen

I know there are so so so many more famous and great songs that have shaped the history of music. I hope you like my choices. However, please feel free and leave your personal favorite song of 1984 in the comments. Since all of the songs you find here have been already scheduled in advance, you may still find your favorite in a later post anyway.

OMG, Can’t fight this feeling is from 1984… I must have completely overlooked it. It is one of my alltime favorite songs. The first time I heard it was when I was in London with my father in 1985. I fell in love with that song instantly and bought the single right the next day.
Great mentions, Gary. I love all the three. Wasn’t it an amazing music year?

These are fantastic Erika, I haven’t heard either in ages. A great share, thank you. And another I loved ‘Against All Odds’ – Phil Collins, I love listening to him, he has some great music 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

I could imagine it would have been something else to go watch him in concert. He has that ‘something’ about him and his music 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
