What do we need when flowers whither
Because there is no light, and no water fills the river

For what do we pray when looking across the nation
And instead of spring blossoming, we only see devastation

What do we yearn for when loneliness creeps in
Because there is no one left to join

Before this happens become aware
That only love keeps us from all this despair

Let’s care for nature and for each other
To save this planet, as sister and brother
