Simply Awesome!

After I shared “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by Jared Halley, Colin, of MeAndRay, told me to check out Halley’s version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Really, I have no words for what talent and, at the same time, genius in coordination he is. The man has no instrument to rely on but hits every singly note precisely and is always on time with every instrument he “imitates”. Listen to that electric guitar. You would not believe there is a voice.

What amazes me too is that he must think from the complete end. He knows how to organize the video and goes with the different tracks from there. It needs very well-developed skills to coordinate such complex compositions and not miss out on anything you know from the original. Such a song or medley is hard work, yet it looks like a walk in the park in the end. It is obvious how much he loves what he is doing. Above all this, you can’t overlook this man’s fantastic voice. I am blown away by this guy. Here is another incredible piece of his work in which he shows his creative and humorous side.

Thanks again to Colin, who made me dig deeper in Jared’s treasure box!

Could you imagine hearing the same song over and over until each track sounds right let alone it all together. But he does it well Erika, he must have a good ear…voice…patience 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣

I can since I know how it is to check on several tracks and compare them, when even not on that level. It is not only the ear, you can see the tracks on the screen in different ways to make imbalances visible. Also, you can make slight chsnges on the computer without recordingnit again. I just thought, how he is going through the song, what he is recording first and in which steps. It is not easy.

And now think of the time it takes to plan the whole thing. Each track needs to be worked over again and again. It needs to be perfect in pitch and picture. There is so much detail work.
