The Thing That Doesn’t Change

Life goes on, the earth revolves
People come and go
Flowers die and bloom again
Years like rivers flow

I feel like I’m a visitor
Observer of the time
I may have changed but still, it’s me
My heart, my inner shrine

Life is a string of constant change
Discovering so much new
But life can be confirming too
Rooting the meaningful

While life’s revolving around me
One thing proves its deep truth
That one thing that will never change
Is my strong love for you

In Love, Light, and Health

Erika, I love the next to last stanza about change and discovery, but still being rooted in the meaningful. We can seek new adventures, but we should not forget our foundation. Keith

I like how you put that, Keith. In the end, everything we find in life is giving us something. Insights, confirmations, ideas, inspiration… life is so much. And eventually, we can only grow from it. Thank you for your beautiful comment, Keith 😊

What a lovely way of melting, Michael. Aren’t we actually all visitors? If we realized it this planet might be able to breathe a lot better.
But I know how you actually meant it… lol!
