Reborn

Sweet breeze of spring, petals of pink

A scent of sprouting life

Triggering something in me

Something that makes me thrive

I close my eyes, take a deep breath

Oh, how alive I feel

Whatever burdened me before

Seems completely unreal

My heart, a well, a waterfall

My face, a giant smile

My system is recovering

Not felt like this for quite a while

The birds are singing songs of love

The wind’s caressing me:

“Open the cage”, it’s whispering,

“Enjoy life and fly free.”

Like spring so love has the effect

To fully live again

It brings our blood to a full boil

And pumps life through our veins
