When I drove back home from dropping off my son at the meeting point for the skiing day with his school I saw this beautiful picture. I thought of all the deep-felt and touching poems I read and couldn’t help but to sit down and I wrote this little poem. I hope you like it.

Whatever love might be
Defined so differently.

Is it a lift to heaven
Or the magnet to the ground?

Is it the fire of passion
Or the silence of the heart’s sound?

Is it the power of magic
Or the basics of our lives?

Is it the ultimate goal
Or for what we strive?

Whatever love might be,
Lies deep inside of me.
