One of the most impressive moments of our visit definitely was the view over Manhattan from the Empire State Building. I already stood here in 1985 with my parents and it was great to be here again. My husband, my daughter and my older son have been to New York City in 1999 (the kids were 4 years and 3 months old). But at that visit we saw Manhattan from the World Trade Center. I am so glad we took that chance!
After the attacks the Empire State Building again was the highest building in New York until the One World Trade Center was built. Anyway… it is a special feeling and atmosphere on a building like that with so much history in its walls and so much that happened around it the last 100 years. After finding our way through the crowd we finally got to the front. I love to share these beautiful pictures with you!

I love the pulse of this city. although I cannot imagine to live there I totally understand the charm of this city and you have endless possibilities to entertain you. They even remodeled an old subway line and made it a dreamlike recreation zone. It is called The High Line and has a length of 4 blocks. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to check that out. But I want to show you photos from the net.

Isn’t NYC interesting?
