February is a month I use for some “small stuff” which I don’t have time for once the year progresses. One part of that “small stuff” is checking on my blog in general, going through old posts, checking on links, clearing out my media (to make up data), and deleting what seems unnecessary. While doing it, I found a post I wrote 6 years ago – my jaw dropped for its timeliness. Here we go:
Two years ago this week, Russia invaded Ukraine… and the war is still going on. Who would have thought Putin really attacked the country, and who would have thought this war is now going into its third year?
During my latest break, I spent a few days in a SPA hotel. Just spoiling myself, being out in nature, and letting my thoughts come and go. At one point, I noticed being completely relaxed and detached from any agenda or news. I read a bit in Neal Donald Walsch’s book “What God Said”. I think I only made it through a page when I laid the book aside and asked myself what I actually believe. What do I believe about my role here in connection to every person? And what do I believe about my connection to God? Instantly, I felt the need to write everything down that started coming up like an eruption of a volcano. What you read in the following are my unfiltered thoughts in the exact order I wrote them down.
Let us continue to believe in a world where respect and appreciation for one another are held dear. Let us never stop seeing the good in each other and do everything we can to spread love and compassion for a world that will one day live in peace.

It’s Christmas Day, and I felt like gifting you something special from our community. Many of you may know Colin. Colin knows my love for music very well and often shares some songs with me that are probably not so well known. A couple of weeks ago, he shared some Christmas songs and a Christmas poem he wrote with me. Unfortunately, due to other priorities, Colin has not the time to make a post on his blog. But he left it up to me to share the songs and the poem if I want to.
Since we still have this terrible war in the current conflict in Eastern Europe going, I would like to continue playing songs for peace and unity in this world for a while.

Today I am sharing a story Wayne Dyer told in his book The Power of Intention. It was part of a post I already shared twice. The first time because of the way people are using social media for their self-exposure and two years ago because of the selfish behavior of some people during the pandemic. I think the message has been never more timely in the past three years than today. It is unbelievable what happens when the wrong person ignores that rule.
… those dirty drops only scream a lot louder than the clean ones…
We are already moving toward the end of January, but when I scheduled this post, it was December 30. On that day, I received a wonderful gift from our dear blogger friend Parneet: his book, Prisons – The Six Secrets of Life. Even when he offered to send me a signed copy, I was touched by his kind gesture. Then when I held the book in my hands, I was touched again. I know I don’t post here as often as I did a few years ago. I wish I had more time, but “the bills” have to be paid too. That’s why I appreciate such loving gestures all the more and hope I can give back some of what I receive here.
About ten days ago, we turned on the Christmas lights around the house. Every year, this is a moment I wait for impatiently. At this time of year, these lights do something to me – and I mean Christmas lights in general. They make me smile, bring back the child in me, take me back to cozy and soothing December evenings when the kids were little, or remind me of lovely times at Christmas markets. In summary: They warm my heart and support it to open up.
There are so many wonderful peeps on this blogosphere who have always been big lights for me. These days their lights appear even brighter and bigger. Because they are those who share their strength with a grounded but at the same time, a higher perspective. They are understanding with those who do struggle during these extraordinary times. They refuse to let unnecessary negativity that others may spread influence their moods. That is the strength we need.
Two years ago, I wrote a post series “You’ve Got Me All Wrong” that already addressed this topic. But the circumstances we are in these days make the voices louder again. Why does God let violence, sadness, and incidents happen? Why doesn’t God keep us from harm? Has He left us alone in those times? Why does He allow the current situation? Why does He punish us?
At first glance, when someone comes across a person who needs help, that someone seems to be in the stronger position, the wiser one, the more educated, or the wealthier one. The person in need seems to be weak and poor or someone who has not enough knowledge to help themselves. But is it really that way?
Our world is a collection of varieties. Too often we look at them as reasons for separation. That’s human in some way since we always look at the world from our own perspective. There is basically nothing wrong with that. We need that to develop individually. But there is this other side we must not forget: We all develop individually and therefore we need variety so that everyone gets served. It is neither right nor wrong, it simply is. And what is, exists for a reason.
This post went in a different direction than I thought when I started writing it. But as we all know, there is a reason and I will let it be as it was written in its natural flow. I am sure it will reach the people or hearts it is meant for.
On the last day of 2018, I shared some thoughts about the connection of how everything that happens leads us to the place we are today. That also means that no matter how we may feel about our lives, we have never been more experienced than we are today. We are the best versions of ourselves in this very moment.
There are setbacks, of course. We start something with enthusiasm and passion. Or something beautiful seems to open up for us. And it is demotivating to see this all falling apart although we put so much lifeblood and effort into it. But that doesn’t mean you failed. Yes, sometimes situations can repeat. Sometimes they repeat because we did not get the whole meaning. Sometimes we need to take a detour to pack something in our backpack that we need to continue our journey on the main street.
What I want to say with this: Whatever you do, whatever step you take, whatever decision you make, how you act or react, it brings you further but never back! Every experience leaves an insight. So never let anyone tell you that you failed. It is your way, not their way. Life will help you to repeat or to go deeper. It is not a punishment it is to support our growth. Even if we cannot understand the meaning or see the greater context when we are in the middle of difficult times – and perhaps we never will – there is always a greater reason behind everything that happens. And the more we follow our inner compass the faster we will get past it and will reach the end of the valley.
Believe in yourself, believe in wise guidance, and believe that in the end, all will be fine. Looking back you will be proud to look down that mountain you just climbed and see that it was worth all the effort. Every little or bigger obstacle you face and overcome will make the joy of the view bigger.
If this year throws stones at you build beautiful castles from it or solid stepstones. From the ruins of broken dreams or relationships build bridges. Nothing that exists gets lost. It only needs to be placed together in a new way. This world is in deep need of new architecture assembled from our own inner healing flames of love and the desire to make it one peaceful paradise for everyone. We are created from love and our natural being is love. Let’s let our true selves shine. The change is already happening. Let’s not get discouraged by any seeming setbacks. Let’s take each other by the hand, follow the light our hearts shine and we can never fail.
I actually planned to write another post about the 25 core messages God shared. But this will happen at a different time since I feel like sharing something that moved me some days ago. I met a new blogger, Sheila Murrey of Take It Upon Yourself, who left a wonderful comment about her emotions and thoughts regarding the movie Bohmian Rhapsody. She expressed wonderfully what I felt too. I took a look at her blog and saw that she has written a book about self-development, healing (body and soul), and giving a look at life from a higher perspective. I was excited that I found her. Or actually, she found me. It is always such a joy to see how many people are dedicating their free time or even their lives to giving something to help others bring more light into their own lives.
Then I thought of a post about our lovely Sue of Dreamwalker’s Sanctuary.She had an inconvenient encounter here on WordPress with another blogger who couldn’t deal with the fact that Sue used an analogy that blogger used too – without both knowing of each other. Instead of being pleased to see that her way might be truthful and that there are others to support the healing in this world, she reacted offended AND offended. Why do we so easily think we are in a competition here. I don’t exclude myself, by the way. it is a reflex that must have been planted in us from childhood on by all the influences of society. Aren’t we all living for the goal of living a happy and fulfilled life? Like I want it, you want it, and she and he want it too! We cannot claim to have the copyright of sending light because we all ARE light. And the only thing that can dim that light is when the ego takes over in its distorting opinions.
There is not one best song or music style. Some reach more people but some like this most and some like that. So it makes no sense to compete over it. That is the reason why I don’t like those competition shows anymore. Just because the majority thinks one song or singer is the best doesn’t mean it really is the best one. They simply are the ones, the majority of those who watched and voted liked it most. Don’t get me wrong, competitions can push us to work on ourselves to get better but we should always be aware that it is not a general truth. Like that, there is not only one way or one best way. There are many ways. There are even many ways for each individual regarding their state of awareness.
When everybody does everything their way then it will always reach exactly those people who need exactly what they share. If two share something similar or even the same then only because even more people might need it and that way more people can be reached.
Remember, we all may have the same goals but we are all individuals to serve individuals individually. That way we all walk towards those goals in the way meant for each one of us. Isn’t that amazing?
