Thank you so much. Your words are very touching. I really try to keep up my path since I know that the other direction is no alternative anymore. And as I said before, I know too much, so … no excuses… However, the life I have today is better than I could have ever dreamed of. And I know that how I changed is responsible for that.
Thank you so much, Khadija. You don’t know how encouraging your words have been for me now 💖

Hi, Erika! Sorry, the arrival was delayed again. 😉 I hope you are well. The quote is so timely again. One never should throw your efforts from the past into the bin. There is alway a way, you only have to find it. That`s the challenge of our life. Best wishes, Michael

Absolutely! To me, the only reason to give up is, when you don’t see the meaning anymore in what you are doing. But not having arrived yet, is an excuse in most cases.

Erika, in sports, you often overcome early difficulties. A golfer who double bogeys the first hole has seventeen more to play. A baseball team that falls behind early must stay in the game until they can rally. A boxer that gets knocked down in the first round can still win (think The Cinderella Man). A football can fall behind by two touchdowns and still win. Quitting too early is not an option. Keith

Agreed. They had one of the biggest comebacks ever in the playoffs. I think they were losing 31 to 3 at halftime and their second string quarterback Frank Reich brought them back. Interestingly, in college, Reich engineered a similar huge comeback for the University of Maryland. Keith

Good example. There are plenty of those. They are repeating it several times in every single season. Last Sunday, they did it again. They did not have to catch up that much, but the last seconds decided over winning or losing! My nerves….

I didn’t know you were a Bill’s supporter Erika. I follow the 49’ers who paid us a visit in Melbourne last Friday and put on a good show. Got 100,000 into the MCG which was a bit big for purpose as its normally a cricket ground, but it made a noise 🤣❤️🙏

Since we lived in the suburbs of Buffalo we are having a history with the Bills. But actually, our son is a huge Bills fan and infected all of us many years ago. So, we are watching football each Sunday evening. And if the Bills play a later game, our son stays or gets up for it… no matter what!
So, you had the 49’ers over. How cool!! Yes, when they are over in Europe they need to deal with soccer stadiums… lol… even the big ones are hardly comparable to the huge foot ball stadiums in the US.

Yes they are, I’m always stunned by the Cowboys stadium. It feels like the tiers of seats are just going straight up. Incredible. And always amazing to watch the Bills playing in the snow. I have no idea how he throws that ball with very numb fingers like that. I bet they look forward to the hot spa’s afterwards 🤣❤️🙏

Haha, they might be so pumped up with adrenaline that they might not even think of a SPA. But yes, the conditions are challenging very often. But the fans are amazing and always help removing the snow. So cool!
