Such a good reminder, Erika. Fear rarely announces itself as fear it shows up as hesitation, as “maybe later,” as endless preparing. Keeping our eyes on the target is what quiets it, because the moment we act, fear loses its audience. The dart image says it perfectly

A powerful image to a powerful decision! Fear may accompany us, but that doesn’t mean at all that it can dominate us!

Fear often shows that we care about something, it can drive us if we control it and not let it control us

That’s a very good observation, Gary. Yes, I see fear as a tool that shows me what me ego tries to keep me from… and that makes me curious. And yes, what is important to us, makes us worry easier. Therefore, it is good to understand how we function and are better able to control fear.

Erika, whether a singer, musician, athlete, orator, et al the way to overcome fear is take that first step, sing or play that first note, or positively act. Keith

Exactly, Keith! It is about beginning and then feeling the adrenaline that makes them want to get more of it…

That is basically how you strip fear of its power, don’t acknowledge it.

Thank you, Mark! Yes, see fear for what it is: a thought pattern, we are used to 💖

Yes indeed Erika. Actually…I just had this odd feeling after thinking to myself. If I treat it as something loving that I am losing (which it is because it is giving us something very powerful to go beyond, to drop that wall that blocks our feelings, and changes us forever), and feel sorry for it…it changed my thought about it quite strongly. I have to think about that a bit more. Maybe my approach needed changing a little 🤗❤️🙏

Oh, yes, ignoring the negative voice does not mean we cannot love it. In the end, it taught us something so important that we wouldn’t have learned without!
