The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to all of us that you were meant to be.

Erika, nice analogy. Forgiveness is a gift to both your victimizer and yourself. I was watching a show where a couple had an argument and he thought it was over. His girlfriend aptly said we just had a fight, we can move past this. So, if we don’t get in the habit of both forgiving and understanding our part, then we will be throwing too many relationships away. Keith

It is very important what you said here, Keith. Only if we want to understand can we lay the foundation for ourselves to genuinely forgive. And understanding does not mean accepting the attitudes of others, but accepting that they did not know any better. Thank you very much, Keith!

Haha, why thank you Erika. I did used to be like anyone else, ever pointing a finger and not looking at myself. Fear will do that, we don’t want to admit we could be in the wrong. That is admitting more doubt, more pain, more unlovable bits than we already carry…not realising, that ‘is’ what we are carrying that causes it all in the first place. From our reactions that is, not everything is ‘our’ fault. But…those ‘fights’ will still stir up our fear bits regardless. It is ever a habit to be ‘on guard’ whenever we encounter a tense situation and we then become a ‘reaction’, not a listener 🤗❤️🙏

You summed this up very well, Mark. I agree, the first reaction is protection instead of observing. We carry so much around and think that by not looking at it, it doesn’t hurt. It is like protective posture when you have a problem with your limbs or your back. Not moving may appear as the solutin because it keeps you from pain while the muscles get weak and other parts of the body are overstrained. It think realizing that we don’t solve the problem but make it worse or more complex over time only happens when the first part of that old suppressed pain starts to crumble and we see that there is nothing to lose but everything to gain. Thank you, Mark 💖
