The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

I think it’s always a complicated thing as Keith pit it, to get rid of inner demons. Looking upon my own journey, and just today, I had a realisation of some of my inner demons. Some of which I thought I hadn’t, I think, as we become aware that’s when we have power over them, but as a qoute that goes, “unless you make unconscious conscious, it will always control your life and you’ll call it fate.” Sometimes it’s just like a miracle you get to know them while other times it may take going through hardships. All in all the journey is necessary.

I think you hit the nail on the head, Sanjo. It is indeed those hidden wounds that still bleed in the background and cause infections. Only when we see the injury can we take measures to heal them. I think we all notice situations in our lives when emotions arise reflexively which bother us and which we actually believe they don’t belong to us. That is when we need to focus and go deeper. When we are aware of them and when we go through life with this awareness we more likely see and follow the hints that take us to the root. As you said, sometimes we unveil them in miraculous ways and sometimes by walking through valleys and dark woods. But with a clear determination that we want to free ourselves, we will reach the top of the mountain. You are totally right, in the end, it is about the journey. Thank you, Sanjo!

As we continue on our path of growth and inner maturity, we discover ways as not to allow them to flare up until they become permanently dormant.
Great quote, Keith and wonderful share, Erika 🌞

I think we learn that with the ongoing experience. In younger years we try to hide and banish them somewhere deep down, only to surface once we are grown-up and free ourselves again by working them out. Thank you very much, Sylvester🌞

It is, isn’t it? When I unerstood something about myself and could let go of another inner barrier, I thought “now I got it” only to find the next challenge waiting around the corner. I do think that we can eliminate them but probably not in one attempt but in many while we are going through this life. Meditation and not-looking-away may be a very good tool to unmask them and chase them away for good. I made the experience that we can feel when an inner demon got sent away for good. Thank you so much for your comment, Jan!

Erika, many thanks for the cite. I think I cobbled this together from various other quotes. If you know anyone with some form of mental illness, quite often it is never cured, it is just managed over time with therapy and prescriptions. But, even those without mental issues, we still have our personal bugaboos. Keith

I am convinced that we all carry something along that is haunting us in one or the other way. May it be someting we did in the past, we cannot undo, or something we did not do, and cannot change our decision, or it is something traumatic that created a demon in a deep corner of ourselves. In some cases, we are not even aware what the root of the root is, and only by going through life we may unveil it layer by layer – or, as you said, with the help of a therapist.

Thank you very much for allowing me to share your words, Keith. As you can tell from the comments, it speaks to many and hit home.

Yup, I think you’re right Keith.
We never truly forget, just leave them be.
As long as we check in, once in a while, and don’t let them fester, and become something more ugly that could rear it’s ugly head.

I think so too, Sis. Also, I believe that the one or the other is ready to be pulled out. It takes a lot of overcoming, but maybe that one demon has to be removed to continue the journey. That way we elminate them one by one. But some may still linger in the background. As you said, as long as we are aware of them, we can deal with them.

Well said Keith. I think we do ‘manage’ them all our lives and the major fear is tied to so many things. Once I understood my fear so many things were ‘let go’, it was almost a total clearing out sale.

But, I do still have one fear, a nice claustrophobia. But like my other understanding I’m digging away to understand this too. I’m partway there as it affects me less and less.

But you are right in that there are seemingly many things they affect and we can only manage as we go through them. They are like a lens to our love and as we remove them the clearer we become 🤗

Great post kind sir, and thank you for the share Erika. We’ll get there, the ending is that love so clear 🤗❤️🙏

I felt the same once that there is a major fear which expresses itself through various outlets. I like the analogy of the lense. In my opinion that major fear is the very last layer before we enter the love we are 💖

Yes Erika, that big one changes so much. And yes to the lens, those fears blur what we see until we do understand and clear our view. And that last layer removed so we feel love inside us truly for the first time 🤗❤️🙏
