Wor(l)d Wars
What do we want?
Are we all clear?
Do we want peace?
Do we want fear?
In wanting peace
We need to know
It comes with trust
That it can grow
But often we
are too afraid
Throwing in fear
The first grenade
We don’t need weapons
To start wars
We have our words
That spread like spores
Let’s spread the right ones
And eliminate
The urge for revanche
For offense and hate
What do we want?
Are we all clear?
Do we want peace
Or spread more fear?

Wonderful my friend. How many wars have been caused through a few words xx

Oh, well, so true, Gary! A few worlds, possibly carrying misunderstandings through the personal view… so many deaths and wars. It is already sad enough when it separates people.

They can be the worst curse or the greatest blessing… we only have to be thoughtful and be aware of possible consequences.

Yes it is ever a war of words. If they but knew the power of what they are closing when they play with in its negativity. And that great unconditional love can be opened if touched in their positivity. And that choice is ever unconditionally theirs.
Great verse Erika, a question for the hearts of mankind 😀❤️🙏

I hoped to spread a little food for thought with this poem. Words have such a power, and often those which are misunerstood have the biggest.

It is food for thought Erika, to share your experiences and thoughts in ‘your words’ to allow others to question theirs. You have added to mine often. Thank you 🤗❤️🙏

That’s the crucial point: Sharing it in each one’s own words. Even though if we speak the same language does not mean we understand the same!
