There is a much used expression here, God might like a beautiful garden but he ain’t going to cut the grass for you. It is about recognising responsibility and making the right choices.

That’s a wonderful saying and nails it well. In the end, it is about responsibility of the individual. Great things (and bad things) happened when that was understood! Change happens when we change.

Exactly.. Its how we use it that counts! xx

Right, that’s the point, many overlook! And they also overlook that free will can merge into collective actions that can make the difference in this or that direction…

Erika, I have long been more of a Deist in my thinking of Christianity. God gave us a brain, we honor him when we use it. These folks who forego medical treatment praying for a miracle I find to be a tad arrogant. How do you know how God will deliver his miracle? Maybe the miracle is in the expertise and experience of a surgeon and his or her team. Just think of what a modern surgeon would look like to someone when the bible was first written. Miraculous maybe? Keith

Ah, yes, yes, yes, Keith! That’s the point! I love what you said here. We never know why things happen, sometimes we are the tool, sometimes the object. Miracles are everywhere, but only when we open our mind, can we discover them. Most of all the miracles that we can do by the way we act and react. The one who complains is the one who needs to check what they need to change in themselves.

Erika, it reminds of the old joke about a man stuck on a roof after a flood. He prayed to God for help and passed on a boat, helicopter and raft. When he complained God had forsaken him, the clouds parted and God said I sent you a boat, helicopter and raft. Keith

A lot of people tend to go in that direction instead of taking up accountability for their own choices, decisions and actions.

That’s the point! I am tired of hearing: Why does God allow it that people get killed and tortured?
It is because other people decided to… not God!

God gets the blame when things are bad and seldom credit when things are good.

We try that tactic a lot as humans, don’t we?

Oh, yes, it is much easier to blame someone else but to take responsibility!

It’s painful to take responsibility sometimes

It is a big leap in one’s development! Sometimes people don’t even consider looking at themselves a bit closer. Sometimes because of insecurity. But the time comes when the lesson has to be learned. And life becomes more interesting that way because they know they can move something!

I think this is one of the reasons I love the coaching process so much. It really helps me question and examine myself.

That’s exactly how I feel about it. That way we become even more open for ourselves.

Most certainly not Erika. Mind you I did in my early days, until I began to understand. And to do that I had to listen to that love and integrity within…with that free will. It was then that I realized there is much guidance if I step into that belief, less if I reject it. It is like all of life, we always attract whatever we give out. I dared it…and found the freedom of unconditional love. Great post kind lady, may that love ever guide us to it 😀❤️🙏

When we look back at this insight, it is as fundamental as simple. And once we understood (or think we do) it is hard to imagine how long it took us to get there. But finally, we are there and never want to get back.

Thank you, Olga! We cannot only do what we want without facing the consequences. But many still don’t understand and instead keep doing what they are doing while they complain.
