That’s so true, Gary. We just came home from watching the new Planet of the Apes movie. I said to my husband: Give someone the ability to create and they will destroy. Social media has so much power and could be such a great instrument to unite… but there is this human being…

I loved your statement. It still makes me nod my head. There are some inspiring and educational parts but most are only self-desplay which I more and more distance from and unfollow. Thank you for your words, Sylvester!

Erika, very well said. It is where extreme thinking lives and breeds. Things are far from perfect in the real world, but not as bad as portrayed on social media. Keith

I had to quote this from Sylvester. It totally spoke to me. And you are right, social media is able to make good things bad and bad things look good. Reality becomes more and more distorted. Thank you, Keith.

That’s right, there is a lot of inspiration that already gave me good hints and ideas… but also a lot of self-display. I started to unfollow all accounts (for example on Instagram) that only post about their own days, their breakfast, lunch and dinner, what their pets are doing all day… no, not for me. But that’s me, haha, different generation probably.

No truer words Syl. It is only the fact that it is a great place to hide, distract ourselves all the while telling ourselves its great convenience. Not realizing it is taking over who we are.

Oh, yes, that was when we did not share pictures of ourselves, our foods, and pets with the whole world… but only what really mattered… lol

Thankfully I have many neighbors Syl, it takes me 2 hrs to walk a mile up the road for a coffee, pit stop chattering all the way. Just spreading a few heartfelt smiles instead of going down with that titanic. Actually that ‘social media titanic’ is well said my friend 🤣❤️🙏
