The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to all of us that you were meant to be.

I think many of us had to go beyond that wall. A scary moment to realize that you are an individual who is entitled to be who they feel they are – regardless what others are trying to tell them. High five, Jan!!

I agree, but for a long time the person may not even realize that they are working against themselves since pleasing others is everything they ever learned… maybe even to survive! When you are taught as a child that there is only one correct opinion, you have difficulties to have your own when you are grown up.

We have absorbed a lot since birth and in our early years it was the behavior of those around us. It may be selective programming but it can be broken.

Haha, oh doesn’t it ever Erika. We think we are on the right path…for others…while squirming ever onward fighting ourselves the whole way. But…learning the whole 9 yards 🤣 Great post kind lady, and much empathy from going there too 😀❤️🙏

You definitely know what I am talking about, Mark. When the true self is done with being pushed aside, it will surface… no matter what…. lol.

At one point the inner pressure becomes too big and what we are breaks through. It surprises the person themselves and they need time to sort themselves and realize what happened. Yes, those stones are necessary to build up the pressure for some to become clear.Thank you, Michael!

Nothing at all! And when you went through both sides you won’t ever go back being a people pleaser anymore – never! Thank you very much for stopping by, Emmanuel!

It does, sis. When you grow up conforming, you think it is normal and has to be that way. Until that moment, when you finally ask yourself, “Why is it that I adjust to others but it does not happen the other way around?”
