This immediately made me think of crash dieting. You may get weight off quickly, but it always comes back. Baby steps are much more solid and lasting. Thank you for sharing, Erika!

That’s a fantastic example. The body needs to get used to the new situation until it can adjust. So, with baby steps the circumstances have time to adjust solidly.
