We traveled through a part of the US for 3 weeks. And yes, I did. We got invited by my best friend AND his girlfriend who cursed me for years. Three years ago they moved in together (again – the first time did not work out at all) and now it seemed she had forgotten about this all. She even cooked for us. However, that was definitely something unexpected but highly appreciated… lol
