#PoeticTuesday – 64

They’ll Keep You Warm

The last warm rays of the September sun
Probably soon, summer has gone

Soaking it up, storing it inside
For making it through some cold winter’s night

It is like with memories, inside they’re still free
Whatever today, once they were reality

The joy and the smiles – they all were true
They are still alive inside of you

So, treasure the moments and hold them all tight
To make it much better through the next winter’s night

In Love and Light

Well written dear lady, those yellow rays hold so many memories for us. You guys are waving it goodbye and for me it is just beginning. I even got a little burnt on the beach today while drinking my coffee. Holidaymakers everywhere, cool breeze from the north east and even someones pup wanted to have a chat and a pat. Thank you for sharing its beauty, I’ll try to reciprocate during our summer 😀❤️🙏🏽
