As long as the conditions in the current conflict in Eastern Europe do not change in favor of humanity, I would like to continue playing songs for peace and unity in this world.
One of those songs that shall echo again over the world …
Wind of Change – Scorpions
In Love and Light
An amazing song Erika, it grabbed everyone with the power in its words 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

I saw these guys back in the 80s. One of the best bands I’ve seen. Still going even though they have retired a million times. Love this song.

Thats a wonderful song! Thanks, Erika! Now i only have to decide which brand of vodka would be the best to drink in future. This one beginning with a “G”, or the other with a “J”. Lol Have a nice evening! xx Michael

It was such a big hit in the late 80s when the Berlin wall fell.

Great choice Erika, not only because of the sentiments within the song, but also because both the song and the band were new to me! Always pleased to expand my musical horizons. 🙂

Really? Then I am even more glad that I shared it today. The song was written because of the opening of the East, the end of the Cold War, and the fall of the Berlin Wall. A new era had been started at that time. It was played everywhere as a freedom song. But you know the Scorpions, don’t you? “Still Loving You” for example.

The Scorpions are a vague recollection, but I guess the heavier sound was not my thing. The “Wall” came down in 1989, and I remember it well but, again, I don’t recall the association with that song. Perhaps they did not get much playing time in Canada? Regardless ……..great song, and I now have it (along with “Send Me An Angel”!) in my collection. 🙂
