I think one of the things we need to understand in order to remember is that the big purpose of life and its journey is to remember who we really are. How can we see the light within the light? We need the darkness to recognize it again. Thank you, dear Jan.

Yes, we get used to follow rules and live to other people’s expectations. Once we see the misunderstanding the big recall begins.

We’ll never live up to other’s expectations because they constantly raise them. To be yourself is the best life that you can live.

Unfortunatley, I can tell you by experience that many do or did. I am no exception when I look at my past. But maybe you meant, we “must not or should not”live up to other’s expectations.

I’ve been there too. Going in that direction we become shadows of ourself. That’s what I was saying and on the other side of that, others change their expectations of who you should be for their convenience.
