#PoeticTuesday

You’ve Come Here to Thrive

You’ve not come here to fight a war
To beg for love or deny what you adore

You’ve not come here to argue and scream
To doubt your worth or self-esteem

You’ve not come here to be controlled
To resign and get yourself sold

You’ve not come here to cry and suffer
Or to be anybody’s buffer

You’re here to manifest your dreams
To realize what impossible seems

You’re here to show your unique light
To brighten your and everyone’s night

You are divinity that’s come to earth
Your connected source you’ll always serve.

Don’t be afraid and see it’s true:
The relief you wait for lies in you

Have faith, just listen to your heart and know
It says: I’m the seed, open up, and I’ll grow

In Love and Light

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

Yes, rhyming makes it a bit more special. I have to admit that letting thoughts just flow can be as captivating. I appreciate your words very much, thank you, Michael.

Ah Erika, your heart begs to differ. Your words are very clear dear lady, and as time goes by you will trust those ‘words within’ so much more. I can still get in my own way, usually to fall on my backside and learn something about love I wasn’t listening to 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

Oh, Gosh, how long have you been stuck already and where?
I am doing very good. Everybody is healthy so far and the appointments for the vaccinations are coming closer.

We are not stranded. We are currently living in Malaysia but would always go home to Singapore every 3 months or so. But because borders are closed so we couldn’t go back and visit our family for over a year since Jan 2020 and probably will drag on to next year.

Great to hear that everybody is doing well and healthy. Stay sane and smiling, Erika.

I see. So, at least you are not stranded. We have not been able to see my sisters and their families in Vienna either since December 2019, although it is the neighbor’s country (Austria). Most off all my mom has had a hard time. But thank God, she gets her second shot on Monday and the borders are open again when even with restrictions.

Nice that the borders are open. Does it mean if your mom is vaccinated, she gets to travel to Austria? By the way, very random, I had my honeymoon in Vienna. Beautiful place with beautiful people.

Actually, she doesn’t need to be vaccined, but she needs a negative test, and go into quarantine for 5 five days. Also, everybody needs to register in advance before crossing the border.
You did? Wow, that’s awesome. And thank you for the nice compliment. I am Viennese, you know 😁

Oh! I didn’t realize that you are Viennese! One of my best buddies is Viennese. I do wish I can visit Austria again. Totally love the place. People held doors for me, tipped their caps and warmly greeted throughout my stay. In fact, I felt safe to walk alone on the streets of Wien at night. Something I can’t do in Kuala Lumpur.

Oh, yes, there is a big difference. Of course, it has become a big city and crimes are happening unfortunately too but compared to the majority of the big cities in the world it is a rather safe place. I am very happy that you made such good experiences and memories. Kally 💖

Yes, I find that Vienna is safer than other cities I have lived in. But of course, safety comes at a price. The apartments are also very pricey! And how can I forget the mention the delicious out-of-this-world desserts that Austria have? Happy to say if I have to pick a country in Europe to relocate to, Vienna will be my first choice.
