Endless Expanses
I lose myself
In the ocean of your eyes
I fall into a depth
But at the same time I rise
Holding my breath
Forgotten how it feels
A canyon of feelings
Lies beneath my feet
I try not to lose
My control, but still
Your depth draws me to
The bottom of my will
A simple embrace
Opens gates, breaks down walls
A new force in me
Arises and howls
In Love and Light
lovely and so very romantic!

I am semi-retired. I am working on my long stories and editing. I had to make copies of 2000 poems and stories. We must remember to make copies of all our work. This sites do go down and you can lose everything. The family is good and I never stopped working. I am a overnight pharmacy manager. Your book is on my reading shelf. This Summer, I will catch-up with my reading. I take the grandchildren to the beach and they swim. I read. I hope you are doing well. Having some fun and staying safe.

That sounds wonderful overall! I am glad you can make time for and stick with your writing while balancing it with working. I am happy to hear how you are enjoying life. Really wonderful!
Yes, all good over here. I am busy with my employed job as a compliance officer for asset managers and at the same time with my own therapy practice, the skincare products I develop and sell, my writing, my singing, and making time to spend time in nature. Last year taught me that I must not forget about myself.
So, cheers to the life we want to live 🥂

You are right dear Erika. We must do something daily we enjoy. All work and no play, make us boring Joeys and Bessys.
