Last week, I spent 4 days with my mom on the island of Sylt. We had a beautiful time and enjoyed the time together a lot, next to exploring a place we haven’t been before. As soos as I can, I will share a post of that trip. The island is a dream and really special in its own charming way.

But for today, I want to share some fun moments we had with our rental car. I received an upgrade and we enjoyed a convertible…. whooohoooo!

It was my first ride in a convertible and I am happy that it happened on this special vacation with my mom.

I think, you could use it even better in our area because the weather is much more stable. In Sylt the weather could change within minutes. I only dared to drive with open roof top twice. But it was really cool!

It seems… haha. And yes, it is not one of the cheap islands on this planet. But on the other hand the whole island is so well taken care of. It is clean and the buildings are in great conditions!

It’s so much fun to ride in a convertible! My father used to own a car dealership and every summer my Mom would get to drive a different color Mustang. It was glorious 💗 Especially once I got my driver’s license and was able to take my friends down the shore in it🏖 We thought we were so cool😎❤

I am not a convertible person, actually. I t was fun trying one out but it does not make me want one now. BUT the exception would definitely be a Mustang. Those a are such cool cars… most of all when a convertible!

Haha, yes!! It’s an awesome thrill. The last time I was in a convertible was the one Lincoln and I rented in Vegas 6 years ago. It was a Corvette. My dream car is a ’77 Corvette stingray, electric blue💙

It is still so different how people can move or must stay at home in this world. I am glad we are allowed to travel. The little measures like wearing masks inside buildings is peanuts compared to the freedom we gained again. We cancelled our vacation to Greece this summer and I was relieved. But I never had concerns keeping up our Sylt plans. I am glad we could do it! Thank you Linda!

You would think so… lol! But the weather is changing so quickly that I dared to drive with open roof top only twice. We had all weather conditions every day. From heavy rain to cloudless blue skies. It was really cool!
