Daydreaming

When clouds are drifting through the sky
In orange, pink and blue
My heart feels like a rainbow 
bridging miles from me to you

I know, sometimes life’s what it is
And we need to adjust
We’d like to change the way things are
All we can do is trust

Trust that one day we’re free to live
The lives we’re dreaming of
Unburdened heart, unburdened mind
Just you, I, and our love

I know the day will come for sure
When I look at those hues
And every cloud that’s passing by
