My Heart’s Treasure Box

Holiday feelings
Sun shining bright and warm
Hearing the flow of the brook
I am closing my eyes
And picture me at a beautiful viewpoint
Above the Atlantic Ocean
Memories of feeling home
Memories of feeling whole
Memories of a time
Saved securely in the treasure box
Of my heart
Never to be released
But being used as a fuel
For new memories to make
While the sun is setting in my memories
I am feeling your arms around me
Hearing your voice whispering lovingly in my ear
Yes, I love you too

Same over here. I miss my Californian sout coast hours at the beach. Have to be fine with the mountains for a while though… but that is not the worst… lol

I should say not lol….I just planned a trip to visit my dear friend in Idaho to enjoy those mountains. It’s been 10 long years since I have been to the west coast 🏞
