Today I am going for a new post under #Health&Beauty. Most likely, today’s post is mostly interesting for the female part of the community. Nevertheless, the facts about the components of the facial mask are certainly generally well known.
For this facial mask, you need 3 ingredients, which you probably have at home anyway:
Quark: ½ tablespoon (as an alternative, yogurt can also be used, but it
more liquid and not quite as nourishing)
Honey: ¼ tablespoon
Oats: ¾ tablespoon grated (you can also use whole oats for the effect,
but it is harder to spread)
Mix all ingredients in a little bowl. It should become a spreadable consistency but not too liquid. You can add quark, honey, or oats to adjust the consistency. Then simply apply the mixture to your face. Leave it there until it becomes dry (about 10 to 15 minutes). Then wash it off with lukewarm water. Your skin will feel padded, fresh, and vital. It is extremely fine and smooth, and wrinkles are reduced or disappear completely.
Quark is a fantastic moisturizer. It is wonderfully absorbed by the skin and balances out dry spots. Quark is also a wonderful remedy for sunburn or minor burns. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it also works very well with acne, neurodermatitis, or irritated skin.
Honey has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It naturally clears the skin, calms, and disinfects. It also stimulates the metabolism, promotes detoxification and purification, helps fight wrinkles, and stimulates the regeneration of skin cells. Honey promotes the elasticity of the skin and is therefore often used in anti-aging creams. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it also has a healing and soothing effect on inflammatory skin diseases or irritations. Honey contains 6 B vitamins which support tissue formation and skin regeneration. Honey can also be applied purely as a mask in between.
Oats act like a magnet. It attracts bacteria and dirt particles and binds them to itself. When washed off, it therefore clears and cleans the skin thoroughly in a natural way. Irritated skin can be soothed with oats, it can counteract impurities, moisturize, and make the skin supple. At the same time, when applied the oat acts like a gentle peeling, which further enhances the cleansing effect of the oat and makes the skin more receptive to the remaining active ingredients of the mask.
All in all, with this mask you have a real power pack for your skin. If you try the mask, I would be very happy about your feedback.

this sounds wonderful Erika, here in the USA it’s hard to get to the store and everything just about has to be ordered on line due to Covid 19. I love the sound and look of this natural cream. ❤

It is completely simple to and quickly made. At the same time it is totally healthy, no chemicals, and inexpensive. Shopping must be crazy in the US currently. I can only imagine.

It is healthy for any skin (men or women). As I said to Gary, it is good for the beard too, makes it soft and the hair shiny. But in that case, the oats should be skipped… hehe.

I will keep this handy then. Have to keep my beard in good shape.

Great! Will not harm men faces too. 😉
Now we have the theme, and i can ask you as a professional singer about a song i am seeking since month. Its from the 1920th, and was interpreted in the past, on a German-TV-Show. But i cant find em. The lyrics are in German and conculde the line(s): “Wer hat dir das Gesicht geschenkt. Ich wollte dich nur fragen. Wer hat dir das Gesicht geschenkt. Du könntest ihn verklagen.” Lol Hope i will find a recording. I am in need for a special friend of mine. 😉 Michael

Looks wonderful and just reading your post I remember way back making with fullers earth 🙂 and remember well that clean fresh soft feeling a good face mask leaves on the skin… Many thanks Erika for this recipe… 🙂 I have no Quark though… but do have the other ingredients.. 🙂
Have a beautiful week Erika ❤

Yes, I used it too. I have to say that home made masks leave a much better feeling on the skin than ready-to-use-masks.
You can use yogurt as well. Quark is simply more nurturing but other than that it has a similar effect. Enjoy and have a lovely week yourself, Sue 😊

This looks great. I’ve been wearing masks for years Ericka, but they were all built on negativity. Yours looks way more positive, and even if it doesn’t work on me, I can eat it 😂 🤣

Oh, I know the kind of masks you mentioned here so well… can totally relate to that. Yes, the one I presented here is way more healthy… lol

By the way, I fired my message through to you via your contact page. No hurry in any way, in fact its a bit messy at the moment as its still in ‘creation mode’ so take your time. Plus your last few comments mention your flat out. The hide of the virus to back off and make everyone go back to work 😂 🤣

I just have to many projects going on. Reorganizing my therapy practice, including developing products and a new website, and I am working as a compliance officer too… next to managing a family, a house, a big garden… and a neglected blog… haha! No, I cannot blame Corona… lol

I try to do one new thing a week. Well why not I might have a go at this. Best shave first I think. Hope everyone in your house has a wonderful week.

Hmm, actually you could leave the beard on. It will be softened too. But in that case, I would suggest you skip the oats… lol
Thank you, Gary. Yes, we have started well. I hope so have you 😊
