Last Saturday I had tickets for Status Quo. They were the main act at an annual festival in our country. Of course, they look older BUT boy did they bring the hall to a full boil! It was already a hot day and hot inside but nobody cared. We jumped, danced sang, clapped our hands, … It was an amazing experience and I felt like a teenager again hearing those songs again.
I was so lucky too, having a spot right in front of the stage. I took 4 videos. It took me a while until I was able to compress them. That’s why I am only sharing them today. But now I am even more excited to share them with you.
Before the next song was played, Francis Rossi said: “The next song is not new.” He looked into the audience and added in his sarcastic humor, shaking his head smiling: “What a surprise.”
Of course, with each one of their classics the hall got more enthusiastic.
And one of the songs we all were waiting for!
It was a fantastic concert and I am happy and thankful that I had the chance to see them live since they accompanied my teenager years with their music.

Congratulations Erika! Here we only get something like “Spider Murphy Gang” or – maximised – some of our local Blasmusik groups. Lol It would be great, listening to something like Ernst Mosch too, but they only play their own works. ;-( Michael

They are still alive… proved… lol! Thank you, Joanne. Their songs sound live even better than on their records. So much passion for their music.

And he rocked the hall although the temperature inside was already challenging the audience, not to imagine how it was on stage!!
