We having some bad fires out here in southern California right now and there is this video making the rounds of a man, who in the midst of a raging blaze, took a moment to grab a frightened rabbit stuck in the fire. He could have ignored the small animal as he was putting his own safety at risk, but he took the time. If only the rabbit could talk. Reminds me of the saying “no man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child—or I might add (as in this particular case), an animal.

My God, that is giving me goosebumps, Paul. What an act of love. Very touching. That saying is very true! Those are the real heroes. Regarding the fires, I hope you are not in danger!!
