What a sky today. Bluer than blue. It is what the Italian call “azzurro”. It reminds me of a song which is on my mind since we have come here. It is also one of my favorite Italian songs of one of my favorite Italian singers.
The song tells the story of a young man who cannot find beauty in the gorgeous afternoon with the cloudless sky. He only thinks of is love and of leaving in an airplane to get to her since she is at the beach and he is still in the city.
Have a great Sunday everyone!

I love this song! You know, I learned Italian for a year in school and we translated it once. I still sing it along… lol!

We are just back from Sorrento – we had a good go at talking the language; but, they were keener to speak English to us. Lol:)

LOL! I understand that well… haha! The easy stuff went well in Italian but when there was more to say I switched to English as well! How did you like it?

We loved Sorrento and Rome – so much to see and do that we could not see or do it all. We shall return. G:)

Wonderful!!! I am glad you enjoyed it so much! So did I! We went to Venice and Verona and some little other places. All so impressive. I have never been to Rome but will go to Florence with my sister next year!!
