Thank you, Jan, that’s so true! We do know, but our old patterns can catch up again. And that is understandable since those patterns might have been built up for decades and it is a process of its own to change them.

What a powerful visual representation, Erika. The kitten looking out at that vast, dramatic cityscape, it’s the perfect metaphor for what you’re saying. That young cat is seeing the world through the lens of its own nature. And the world it perceives becomes its world.
The light, the scale, the overwhelming grandeur of the city, all of it is filtered through the kitten’s perception. If the kitten sees danger, the city becomes dangerous. If it sees possibility and wonder, the city becomes full of adventure.
“How we perceive anything is only a reflection of how we are.” Yes. The world doesn’t show us truth. It shows us ourselves. And that’s both the prison and the liberation, we’re not trapped by the world. We’re shaped by how we choose to see it.

Yes, triple Yes! The world, our life, we ourselves is how we look at it and what we make of how we look at it. We can appear as little kitten but with a heart like a lion and that heart will create our path eventually, not the look of the kitten. We have the power!
I love that you said that the world doesn’t show us truth, but shows us ourselves. That’s such a fantastic statement. It is what we all need to understand and remember – again, no excuses! What we see in the world is only a mirror of how we encounter it.

Indeed Erika, it allows us to see ourselves and change if required. Mind you, we can be stubborn. Those fear things have a great hold, and because of that it is a great freedom appreciated when we do go beyond them 🤗❤️🙏
