#PeaceSongTuesday – 42

Let us continue to believe in a world where respect and appreciation for one another are held dear. Let us never stop seeing the good in each other and do everything we can to spread love and compassion for a world that will one day live in peace.

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

I’m old enough to have been a fan of Tim Hardin since he first started, and to have had one of his early albums. A great songwriter taken, like so many, far too young.

I will have to check out more of his songs. See, this is why I love music posts, I discover so many gems. Thanks, Clive! And sad to hear that he passed away early.

He was one of those who wrecked his life with addictions. He left us some great songs, though. You may well know Reason To Believe (covered by Rod Stewart) and If I Were A Carpenter (many covers, probably the best known being the Four Tops but I’ve always liked Robert Plant’s version). His own recordings are gentle and delicate. My favourite song of his is How Can We Hang On To A Dream. Simply beautiful 😊

My, thank you, for all of the suggestions. I will listen to each one of them and maybe I do know the one or the other. It’s so sad, when such talents and great artists cannot deal with success or with what goes along with it. Very sad… However, thank you again, Clive!
