Love to this World

I send out a thought of love
Its feet, so light yet big
That it creates a path to walk
For several to follow it

Then on its journey to bring light
It won’t be alone for long
Whatever it touches, it will join
To make the light brighter and strong

I am quite sure that when it reaches
The place where it is needed
It will explode but unlike bombs
It brings relief and healing

There is not much that I can do
But to send thoughts of love
But one small match can light a fire
To illuminate the night above
