Vanishing Dreams
A soul creates so many dreams
Of what it wants to see
Some you drop while some you chase
Some you make your reality
A dream you hold tight to your heart
One that you warm and care
You give that spark of life to it
And make it linger in the air
You witness how it comes to life
Ev’ry day a bit more
One day you wake up, and you hear it
Knocking at your door
So many dreams you managed to
Draw into your life
Some of them vanished again:
You forgot to keep them alive
What once had a precious glow
Dissapeared under dust
It fell apart and crumbled down
From shiny metal to worthless rust
In Love and Light
Wow Erika, what a beautiful poignant poem 💗

I had not expected that this poem gets so much attention. But it seems that we all can relate to it pretty well. Thank you, Vonita 💖
