#RomanticTuesday

The waves of the sea
Are taking me on a ride
Far across the globe
Following the low tide

The choir of the seagulls
Is my heart, calling for you
Telling you that my love
Is still growing and true

The sun keeps me warm
Like your arms used to do
And while it is setting
I feel so grateful for you

Oceans don’t separate
They fill the gap between lands
Thus each wave takes me closer
To the touch of your hands

In Love and Light

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

Erika, you might want to check out Holly’s post. She has written a poem today, as well, about a woman staring off into the ocean. I suggested the same to her to check yours out. Since, neither of you mention gender, I asked if we could see both as two women staring off into the ocean from opposite sides longing for the other. Only the sea and the women know. Keith

Oh, yes! I was smiling when I saw her poem. She has such a wonderful way to paint images with her words. The way you look at both poems is very inspiring. It would make a third poem of the observer. In the end, a complete story seen from different perspectives. Thanks for sharing your obeservation, Keith!

Tis my pleasure, Erika. I think we look to the vastness of the ocean for answers to our travails. You both have flair for words and hiding their intent to allow the reader to interpret. Keith

I am humbled, Keith. I think that is the joy I feel in writing poetry: sending thoughts out, making the reader catch them, and letting them merge in a unique way. I apprecieat your words very much, Keith. Thank you!

Your poems speak my own innermost thoughts about how much I long to be reunited with Lincoln. Living on the beach, I always enjoyed low tide, a time for new beginnings to spark again. It’s a magical time. I have always enjoyed watching the tide charts throughout the day and the different feelings each one evokes. Your poem mimics them beautifully 🌊💙🙌

We are stronger connected to nature than we might consider. The tides or the moon (which affects the tides), sunrise, sunset, wind, rain, sun… physically or mentally, heart, body, and soul. All is connected. I hope you are soon together with Lincoln again, Maria😊💖

YES!! I was just reflecting on this because I’m putting together my final ritual ceremony for my shamanic healing certification to be performed in 2 wks for my teacher. Nature and my connection to it has a deep resonance for this practice. It’s helped me renew my spirit, my belief in myself and the great power of love. Amazingly, after I wrote this comment, Lincoln called me to tell me he is finalizing his move here soon!! This was just the news i have been praying for🙏❤😊 I’m so happy🎉

Very beautiful and I can relate to it nicely. I finally got outside on my balcony and could feel a touch of the warmth of spring, seagulls calling and dolphins splashing in the water. Even that salty smell has that touch of life in it Ericka 😀
Well versed dear lady, maybe those shores are calling you again 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏼 🦋
