I am glad you haven’t given up on this quote, Robert. A spoken word has a bigger impact (on both sides) than we might think. We can hurt, we can inspire, we can encourage or discourage. And sometimes we are not aware that our words have this or that effect. We need to be wise what we spread. I know that this is the message you are sharing too.

I often reserve comment and come back to a post to suss it out. And you are right, that is the essence of my message. Everyone lapses, the best we can do is accept our imperfections and keep working to improve.

I have problems with concentration, Erika, and it’s worsened over the past ten years. I often forget what I’m reading as soon as I read it. So the strategy is to go back and take notes if I have to so I can comment appropriately.
