Lost and Found

It was like searching Easter eggs
I think I hid it well
Too long ago I cared for it
I cannot even tell

But now it seemed the time has come
To finally dig it out
A treasure hidden’s of no use
Like bathing in a drought

But where was it, I had no clue
I became desperate
If I don’t find it anymore
Would that be my life’s fate?

You came along and saw my tears
You turned my head around
I was confused and very sad
What should I do without?

You said: Don’t worry, it is safe
I took care long ago
You opened up your hand and there
My heart laid in full glow
