Look At This…

A few weeks ago, Irene of IreneDesign2011, posted a pair of Apatite earrings which immediately attracted my attention. The color of those stones was so beautiful and in some way, I felt the energy of the stone coming right through. After asking Irene this and that about the stone regarding its effects and pondering about a fitting necklace I decided to order the earrings.

Love’s Plan

Can it be that love has been
Around me all the time?

That what I searched for in my dreams
Has already been mine?

Can this be the reason that
Love at first sight is true?
Because the first time that we met
I knew that it is you

How long before I held your hand
And looked into your eyes
Have we decided that we’ll share
The greatest gift in life?

Although the search was long and hard
The dream that finally came true
Felt like the biggest miracle
That love can have for two

In Love and Light

Just a Thought… Stop bowing, start living

“We have always done it that way. You cannot make money with what you would like to do. You don’t have the money to do it. You have to stick with our kind. It is the tradition. It is the culture. The family won’t let me.”

Just A Thought – What Means Freedom?

My first thoughts may be doing what I want, having no obligations, no duties, and only taking care of myself and my needs. Perhaps this comes to mind first because barely someone can do this. But let’s pretend to go for this. It would lead to isolation pretty soon because it would mean to lock everyone out. In thinking we’d free ourselves we’d send ourselves in a homemade prison.

A song, saved in my heart
Opens a window to the past
Memories surrounding me
A blessing that still lasts

We Don’t Miss What We Never Knew

Before we had smartphones we have not missed them. But today, the phone breaking down can cause big issues in our daily lives. I wrote my first email in 2006. Many asked me how I could live without the internet. I said, how can I miss something which has never been part of my life? But once I had started emailing and using the internet, it came close to a catastrophe when my laptop died or the internet got interrupted. When my sister went for her style coach degree, she interviewed people. One question was about the color yellow and what if it would not be part of our lives. One answer was: We wouldn’t care, because we wouldn’t even know it.

“Imagine Love” and guitar sounds in Santa Monica

Yesterday, Colin of MeAndRay shared a song of Scott Jacobs whom he saw performing live as a street entertainer. Colin liked the voice and the song and bought a CD. In our following discussion, I mentioned that I experienced the same twice in Southern California. Colin asked me to share songs of those artists too.

Want to hear me sing classical music?

Many of you know that I am a singer. I produced 16 songs (rock/pop/ballads). But actually, I am a classical singer. I have sung at several concerts in halls and churches, with big and small orchestras and bands, I have been booked by choirs or for big official events for the entertainment part. I played and sang leading parts in musicals, and won both contests I participated in many years ago. Still, I don’t have a lot of digital recordings where you can hear my classical voice. That’s why I am happy I can share an Ave Maria with you which I sang in church a few weeks ago.
