Today we visited two museums. The Vasa museum and the ABBA Museum. The rest of the day was filled with shopping… yes, my daughter convinced us. Now I am completely done!!!
The Vasa Museum shows the ship, Vasa. Shortly after embarking on her maiden voyage in 1628, the ship foundered. It was a completely faulty design. The center of gravity was too high. Lots of people lost their lives. 333 years after the catastrophe the ship was salvaged. The ship is so big that I wasn’t able to get a photo of the whole vessel.
ABBA… nothing to add. It was great to get reminded to the amazing hits this group produced. There was never a scandal and when you look at their faces you see pure joy in their faces when making music.
Some more impressions of the city
Tomorrow we fly back home. Will be back on a regular base on the weekend.
