I am floored … literally floored! I had no idea you could sing like this … you took me into another dimension with your beautiful voice and this beautiful music!

My, thank you, Jill. I am so happy you liked it that much. Singing is half of my life and I am singing more or less all my life. I started in a children’s choir and got even recoreded on vinyl with a solo Part. When I was 16 I started taking singing lessons.

Wow, is all I can say! Being partly deaf since birth, I was never musically inclined at all. My mother enrolled me in piano lessons when I was young, and by the second week, the teacher asked her not to bring me again!

Oh, that must have been very frustrating for you. But then again, I can imagine that you did not enjoy it a lot. Maybe something like drums would have made more sense… feeling the beat!

Hah! Yes, perhaps drums! I’d probably be drumming one song while the rest of the band played another, but in some cases of hard rock, who’d even notice the difference?

😂I imagined what you wrote… lol. And yes, there are music genres that would even benefit from that… haha.

Wow, this is beautiful dear lady, you can hear it calling to you. Now I do see the love of your life (besides your family 😂), and it is a lovely sound. Thank you for sharing your heart here, it is a chorus all its own 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏼 🦋

OH. MY. GOD. You are blowing my mind! Your voice is wondrous, glorious! I don’t think I can sing classical. Fooling around yeah, but seriously? I don’t think so. Years ago when I had the range (high soprano) yes I can see me singing classical. Now however? Age in progress here ….. LOVED this song, Erika! I was so taken away…. I even put headphones on!! BRAVA!!!!

Wow, my, thank you, Amy 😊That was recorded live in a church during a concert. I am a mezzo soprano but I am having a wide range both up and down. This one is basically an alto part. Unfortunately I don’t have more records of good quality from classical performances. I love singing both ways but the classical way is where I can lay everything in and I have much more power in that technique. So happy, you liked it, Amy. I am sure you are still able to sing beautifully. Only a little practice and you are back … like riding a bike, hehe. 💖

Wooo, thank you, Vonita! So cool that you listened to it! Wow!!! I am happy you enjoyed it. It is a shame I don’t have more files of my classical singing. I won a contest with the “Habanera” from Carmen. That was really great!

Thank you, Syl 😊 I am basically a mezzo-soprano, but that one was written for alto. As you heard I had more power in the higher parts. But yes, I have a pretty wide range of my voice. It still goes a lot higher. That’s why I can sing both alto and mezzo-soprano. I am happy you liked it 😊

Yep, in a church during a concert. I have another one but the quality is not that good because I was singing from a different spot in that church. I sing a lot higher.

Maybe you can do a recording of you demonstrating your vocal range. O think it would be awesome. 🙂

I don’t want to post it. The quality is really not so good. But if you want I can send it over to you.

Oh thank you, Deb! I appreciate it that you took the time to stop by. Thank you also for checking this song out. I am trained in classical singing. That is where I started. But meanwhile I sing everyhing with different voicies. My song “Rise up” combines both. Once again thank you, for your nice comment, have a blessed day, Deb!!! 😊

I know this tune, I think we sang it in church;) my mother was a choir director, I played piano since 5 years old, now I need to retrain myself; just moving my piano over from the other house;)

That is wonderful. My grandpa always said I should learn to play the piano. I never did. Would be good do be able to most of all for learning songs or composing.

who publishes your books? I was going to use, Amazon create space? for mine; I don’t have any finished yet, just one children s story; it was a vanity press, they make you pay for books. even when you write them unfortunately.

I checked out Amazon for my poem book “Enjoy Life”. Was curious how that works. It takes a little time but it is not too complicated. But I would never publish books likd “I’m Free” that way. There has to be the option for me to hold it in hands.
