The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to all of us that you were meant to be.

Haha, what…not ‘chocolate’? 🤣
But yes, they, as a child, are the core strategies…for the teacher at least anyway 😂
Well said kind sir, and hopefully we mature and develop a larger range of needful things…like said chocolate 😀❤️🙏🏽

Erika, and it is OK to tell the person no. Having been in business for decades before retiring, one of the great frustrations is not being told anything – about a proposal, about a job, about a request – leaving you to just assume the answer is no. I encourage people to tell the asker no, you are not interested. That would save an abundance of time and frustration. As a colleague used to say, “at least tell me no or kiss my foot or something.” Keith

I experienced the same. Many don’t dare to speak up for themselves and rather stay in a situation they don’t want until they are breaking down under it. But also those who tell you what you want to hear and don’t care anymore… frustrating. Your colleague nailed it 😄

I discovered another way of saying “No” that others have used on me. “I can’t.” The “why not?” of it seldom gets asked. 🤔

Of course, that “no” is existing too but has a different meaning. Many of us don’t dare to stand up for themselves or don’t think they deserve to have their needs met. Thank you for your thoughts, dear Gail 💖

Actually, my boss who used to say that tried to say “Yes” to every committee and department. His second job was a college professor. 😜

And most of all respect for the person themselves. Many tend to put them at last which doesn’t help anyone. Thank you very much for your thoughts, Mark 💖

Still, it takes too long until we dare to even consider it. It takes more courage to do so, although it is absolutely legit 💖
