The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.
I love the quote and thank you for introducing me to a song by ‘Queen’ I’d never heard before, Erika. I loved the video and the way it was done. Such a 1920s feel to it. It reminded me (for some reason) of the original Flash Gordon movie.
The BBC has been showing a Freddie Mercury documentary recently. Such a moving tribute and, at times, very tearful to watch.
That song has been played once in a while around Christmas and I loved it a lot. I remembered since I had not heard it for quite a while. Gosh, I remember that Flash Gordon movie 😂
I heard of that tribute. And there was a lot on the radio regarding him passing away already 30 years ago. I still cannot believe it is that long ago already. I can imagine how deeply moving it must be. There was so much tragedy in his life.
And so much tragedy going on in the world at the time of his life, too, Erika. It’s hard to calculate that he died 30 years ago. I suppose it doesn’t seem that long ago because of his music. I once served him a drink at a bar where I worked. The drink cost £2. He gave me £20 and told me to keep the change. That’s my ‘Freddie’ Story.
What? You met him in person? That’s priceless. Having goosebumps right now. What a generous person. Yes, it doesn’t seem that long. His songs make him part of daily life still.
Lovely Erika!
