I’m on the side of seeing the real you. A good dual thought quote to share.

I hope that I am there too. I try to look past the surface but I don’t know if I really do. However, as I said to Jan, I can imagine that many want to realize themselves in others for whatever reason. But they overlook that it cannot work out. In the end, they will be mirrored anyway.

It is a valid point from both sides and views. Whether some try to live vicariously through others or find or mirror others as you said.

Well said. I believe we are all reflections of each other. Thank you for sharing, Erika.

I believe so too. But I can imagine that some try to realize themselves in the other instead of just letting those others be who they are. In the end, their reaction will again only be a mirror.

Erika, this is a highly pertinent post. We are seen through the lens of others. When Blackberries were the new thing, I told a colleague he would be better served if he threw his into the ocean. He tended to overreact to perceived slights based on the messenger, not the message. We were consistently salving wounds from his retorts on nothing at all. Keith

That’s a very good example. We can become so blind and paranoid when only focused on ourselves. Thank you, Keith.

Well said. But in the end all that projecting is just covering up ‘us’ 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
