Malta – First Impressions

Hi friends, I am quickly dropping in and want to share some first impressions of the area of our hotel. We spent walking around until the early afternoon and then I was glad I could rest a little in the sun. That was when I replied to your comments 🙂

As you see from the pictures the weather is changing pretty quickly.

Tomorrow we are going on a Hopp-on-Hopp-off bus tour. Looking forward to exploring for of this beautiful island.

I know Malta is a beautiful place ii was always on my travelling list when I was closer and living in Italy now is far…far..away! Ahah I am glad I went around Europe a lot back then! Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos dear sister soon to see countdown started 😉 ❤

Yes, isn’t it amazing? In almost 4 weeks we meet. That is so exciting 😀 It is funny, actually Malta never was on my list. It was a spontaneous decision in the beginning of the year to check it out in order not to fly too long. You know what, Carolina? Hawaii is much closer to you now and that is on my bucket list 😉

And about Hawaii yeah is great I went years ago to the wonderful Maui I want to go again – Have great time in Malta love you!

Haha… you are so sweet, thank you, Becky. I will participate, but it can really take a little. I am gone again at the end of the month and have lots to catch up and to prepare before I go. But I make myself a note and I will particpate for sure. I won’t ignore it, Becky 😀

Lol! I would like to like it, but after long flights I have a dizziness for some weeks and that makes is hard to enjoy oversea trips

I know the jetlag. You know what? It gets so well meanwhile. Often I am through it after two days. And if I wake up at night I already have some stuff organized to do. That way it makes sense to get up at night for one or two hours 😁 the dizziness… it is worth it for me because I love it so much.. lol

I was scared of flying until I was 39. Then I flew to California for the first time visiting my best friend after 10 -15 years and I only had the destination in mind. Never afraid of flying anymore ☺

I flew to Canada this year, the first long flight in my life, and it was terrible. But then I went to Mauritius, an even longer flight. Maybe one day I’ll overcome it, like you 🙂

I think it really depends. I was afraid of flying itself no matter how long. But my belief, my faith, and this experience took that fear completely. No reason to be afraid. If my time has come… it will come wherever I am!

Thanks! Maybe if you lived here you would change your mind. LOL. Really, I like it here because it is a city but you can also get away to mountains and beaches but I think there are places that rival it’s beauty for sure!

That is exactly what I love about it… so much variety of nature. I always think how lucky the people are who get up in the morning and just look at the blue ocean. Or come home from work, sit on their patio, and again look at the ocean. Perhaps the people who grew up with this don’t see it that way. But I would treasure it and be thankful for it every single day. ☺
