About ten days ago, I had a wonderful conversation about unconditional love with Mark of HealingFromWithin. I invite you to read his post about An Unconditional Dilemma. Often we meet people to whom we want to give ourselves completely. They may be in a bad place, desperate, lost, beaten by life. For some reason, there is a sudden connection, a strong attraction, and a deep need to help them heal their soul. Sometimes the encounters happen in such a magical way that you would give a movie a bad rating for being too unrealistic. However, from the first moment on, everything indicates that there must be a higher purpose behind it.

If Nick’s example does not lead to more consciousness, self-awareness, and gratitude for who you are and for what you can make of who you are, then what can? If Nick’s story and journey are not convincing you that you can always be who you want to be, that there is always a way and a solution to be who you want to be, then what can?
I printed Nick Vujicic’s words that “If you don’t get a miracle you could be a miracle for someone else”. What an example of no matter who you are, how you look, or where you were born, you have your purpose. That purpose’s seed was planted in you by the moment you were born. However, you are composed it is exactly who you need to be in order to fulfill that purpose and become who you are meant to be. You only need to be willing to look at it and live it. Then life will expand and give you the miracles you are looking for… because you are the miracle.

Each truth is a small stepping stone that leads me to the next particle of truth. It may expand what I have already considered being the truth, or it may put a new face on it. I would never demand anyone believe it because who am I to say what is right or wrong since I believe that truth is subjective. The truth I like to share as part of my inner calling, is a truth that makes me feel good. It strengthens me, broadens my perspective, and keeps my mind curious about what triggers my heart to discover. By sharing it, I hope to trigger something similar in others.

Oh, well, such big dreams but so many inner steps to take to realize them. Isn’t it crazy that what we want the most often also scares us the most? A dream I have is something that I don’t have in my life yet. What I have not had in my life yet, I have no experience with. It is not the dream itself that scares but the changes that may go along with, the possible sacrifices, the risks to fail and to deal with the consequences. The big unknown we cannot estimate. Again: to take responsibility for our actions with all of their consequences!

It is not always easy to do that. Daily life, obligations, and responsibilities do have a legitimation in this too! But too often we are scared to even think about following that voice which creates such beautiful and alluring pictures in our heads. Read more ›
At first glance, when someone comes across a person that needs help that someone seems to be in the stronger position, the wiser one, the more educated, or wealthier one. The person in need seems to be weak and poor or someone who has not enough knowledge to help themselves. But is it really that way? Read more ›
This post went in a different direction than I thought when I started writing it. But as we all know, there is a reason and I will let it be as it was written in its natural flow. I am sure it will reach the people or hearts it is meant for.
On the last day of 2018, I shared some thoughts about the connection of how everything that happens leads us to the place we are today. That also means that no matter how we may feel about our lives, we have never been more experienced than we are today. We are the best versions of ourselves in this very moment.
There are setbacks, of course. We start something with enthusiasm and passion. Or something beautiful seems to open up for us. And it is demotivating to see this all falling apart although we put so much lifeblood and effort into it. But that doesn’t mean you failed. Yes, sometimes situations can repeat. Sometimes they repeat because we did not get the whole meaning. Sometimes we need to take a detour to pack something in our backpack which we need in order to continue our journey on the main street.
What I want to say with this: Whatever you do, whatever step you take, whatever decision you make, how you act or react, it brings you further but never back! Every experience leaves an insight. So never let anyone tell you that you failed. It is your way, not their way. Life will help you to repeat or to go deeper. It is not a punishment it is to support our growth. Even if we cannot understand the meaning or see the greater context when we are in the middle of difficult times – and perhaps we never will – there is always a greater reason behind everything that happens. And the more we follow our inner compass the faster we will get past it and will reach the end of the valley.
Believe in yourself, believe in wise guidance, and believe that in the end, all will be fine. Looking back you will be proud to look down that mountain you just climbed and see that it was worth all the effort. Every little or bigger obstacle you faced and overcame will make the joy of the view bigger.
If this year throws stones at you build beautiful castles from it or solid stepstones. From the ruins of broken dreams or relationships build bridges. Nothing that exists gets lost. It only needs to be placed together in a new way. And this world is in a deep need for a new architecture assembled from our own inner healing flames of love and the desire of making it one peaceful paradise for everyone. We are created from love and our natural being is love. Let’s let our true selves shine. The change is already happening. Let’s not get discouraged by any seeming setbacks. Let’s take each other by the hand, follow the light our hearts shine and we can never fail.

We all have both of them. And much too often they seem to stand in opposition to each other. Because what we do and what we would love to do sometimes appears like sitting in completely different corners. But why actually? Why should it be not possible to realize our dreams and fulfill our obligations or even make them our obligations at the same time? Read more ›

There is this touching story about that man who caresses the beautiful silky nightgown of his wife which he just found in a drawer. She kept it untouched for special occasions to surprise him. In the end, she never wore them and he never saw them on her … We don’t know what happens in one year, heck, we don’t even know what happens in the next moment. That doesn’t mean that we need to panic and start hectically to accomplish everything at once. It shall simply say that we need to stop postponing things.
Yes, sometimes there are different priorities. But what I am talking about here are the things we could do but don’t. It is more convenient to find an excuse instead of making the effort to get something started. It can be out of laziness. Very often it is out of a lack of self-esteem – the fear of failing, the fear of being questioned, the fear of being criticized. We use excuses like I am not smart enough, I am too old, I don’t have the time, I never did it before.
So what? If we never do something we never did before, then we never do anything! What is progress? It is evolving into something that wasn’t there before. We are here to evolve. That is the meaning of life. During life our bodies are developing, our minds are developing, our personalities are developing, and so shall develop the life we live!
We all have skills, talents, abilities, and dreams. The combination of it all is what waits for you to be brought into the world or developed within you. You are 70 and always dreamed of learning Mandarin? Do it!!! Don’t say, I am too old. What do you have to lose?
One of those excuses which makes the least sense to me is to resign from something out of respect for others. For example, parents who cannot let go of their children: “I cannot travel the world for one year because it would break my mother’s heart when I am gone for so long.” “I cannot accept that job because I had to move to another city which would hurt my parents.” I can get mad when I hear something like that. No parents must make their children feel guilty when for living their own life. From day one on parents needs to be aware of the fact that they raise their children in order to prepare them for life. A child has to be supported in finding its own way in this world. Of course, it is different when parents are sick and in need of help.
It is your life. Don’t wait until you look back and realize that you don’t need excuses anymore because the opportunities have already gone. It is the worst thing I can imagine I could do to myself. Because in the end there is no one to blame but myself.
Don’t be afraid of leaving your comfort zone and breaking out of your old life. You can never fail. I repeat: YOU CAN NEVER FAIL!!! Because whatever you do today brings you further than you were yesterday. Every insight is a step up the stairs of your personal evolution.
Wear those silky nightgowns and enjoy them. Make others smile with who you are. Enjoy your life by filling it with who you are and expanding that person you are. You don’t know what the next day brings. Use the time you are given. Make this education, join this class, do something that you always wanted to do, and take the first steps towards it. Even if you don’t know how to accomplish it. There are people to ask, there are books to read, and there is the internet. Rome wasn’t built in a day. There is no deadline. You only need to start and move forward step by step. Some steps are happening faster and easier, and some need more time.
Entering this new world within your life will open up new options too. You will find even more fulfillment than you had ever imagined. All the new things you encounter leave something that inspires and shows you more things to explore. You will discover much more about yourself and you will feel as if life had just begun.
You have come into this world to live your purpose – in order to live a fulfilled life and in order to serve others with it at the same time. This life is a giving and receiving. Life is for a living! We only live when we feel ourselves. We feel ourselves the best when we dilate our inner world into the outer world.
Fill your life with meaning and start today!

Read more ›During a chat with a friend here on WordPress, I got reminded of one of my biggest inspirations regarding what I see as my purpose: The Saint Francis prayer
Only when reading it, something opens up within me. Like the dawning sun, there is this love rising up. This love has only one purpose: to spread love towards everybody’s heart in order to make them rise their inner sun too.
We are in a time of change. People run from dark places and try to find the light somewhere else. What we realize more and more these days is that only when we start acting from our heart – first towards ourselves and then towards everybody around us – we can end the pain, end war, and suffering. When we act from this place of love inside of us we feel a deep connection to everyone. Because love is the energy that created us, that we are, and that connects one another over the globe – regardless of any religious, cultural, racial, or political background. We are all loved and we want to feel loved. Isn’t it the most wonderful feeling to realize that someone feels deeply loved because you made that person feel loved? Because you showed that person that they are important, that they are precious, that they are beautiful, that they are perfect the way they are, just because they are as they are? Isn’t that the only technique to fill your heart with true and enduring love?
I remember back in 1984. I was 14, sitting in my classroom (bored by the subject) and pondering about life. I was thinking about what would give my life meaning, and fulfill me? And there was this thought coming up: “Make others feel good.” I don’t know where that came from. But it was there out of the blue. At the same moment, I got tears in my eyes because I felt a warmth in my chest expanding and rising up. A feeling that must have been of deep love. I remember it so clearly because it was a moment of awakening. From that moment on I tried to look deeper into my friends and other people. I wanted to understand them and through this spent encouragement and comfort.
Unfortunately, I lost that over the following years when I lost myself. But it always rose up between and for at least 6 years it is a companion wherever I walk.
It is my greatest joy to see others happy and it is my greatest fulfillment when I could make someone smile. Reading the Saint Francis Prayer again reminded me of this wonderful tool we have with us all the time. The tool that ceases sadness and suffering, that ceases anger and hatred, that ceases darkness and brings light. The tool of our origin, that divine spark within – LOVE
When we let love speak, we truly lose anything that is not love. We are dying to the old identification with us and are born into the eternal awareness of love and love itself. Love is life – eternal life.
Our recently passed Wayne Dyer introduced me to the Saint Francis Prayer. He mentioned it in some of his books. When I joined my first lecture with him, he played a song by Cecilia. She is also called The Healing Voice. I bought one of her CDs and there was also the Saint Francis Prayer recorded. The song was exclusively written for her. It is very beautiful and I want to share this song with you too.
I won’t analyze too much about the prayer itself but ask you to simply open up to those lines and see what happens within you when you let the words touch your heart.
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

Read more ›This is the last part of the success series. In this part I want you to encourage to faithfully follow your dream no matter if you have to face some struggles on the way, no matter if you already know about the whole plan, no matter how long it might take, and no matter whether someone did it before or not.
Follow YOUR dream!
Life is in constant motion even when we are standing still. The circumstances in our lives are moving which means that we are pushed to move. Therefore standing still is impossible. Don’t wait till you are pushed to be somewhere or someone you don’t want to be only because you are not willing to create your own footsteps. Living other people’s dreams has never brought success but frustration, depression, and diseases. It weakens you since it is not your dream and not your potential and therefore nothing you could give yourSelf. And as Wayne Dyer says: You can’t give away what you don’t have! To be pushed in a direction you don’t feel comfortable with shows you mercilessly that it won’t work since it is not your dream and therefore not meant for you to be.
Take the first step, have faith in yourSelf, keep up a happy knowing that your dreams are supposed to come true since they have grown out of you, watch the first signs of unfolding, and take the next step in faith again. Following your dreams shows your gratitude for what you were provided with to go through this life in your own certain way. If you don’t do it, no one does it!
Believe in you!
Believe in your dreams,
Believe your inner voice.
Believe that you always
Will have your own choice.
Believe in your strength,
Believe you’re unique.
Believe that your power
Is enough to succeed.
Just believe in yourself
Only half as I do
And I give you my promise –
It’s all coming true!
– Erika Kind
Summary
Looking back on your own life, what would you say was your biggest success? It was the time when you expanded yourSelf into the outside world.
You will never ever lose your path as long as you believe in yourself, be authentic, love what you do, have an open mind, and follow your dreams steadfastly. Your dreams are part of your life’s purpose. Living your purpose creates your heaven on earth. Never forget the greatest power you always have at hand: the divine energy, that you are, called love! Whatever you do with love in your heart will make everything you do a gift to the world.
Success is only a wonderful symptom that occurs out of your authentic way of living in love – flowing through all of your actions.
In Love and Light!
See the previous chapter Part 4 Don’t doubt but open up your mind!
In Part 4 of the successful series (see part 3 Love what you do) I am talking about banishing your doubts while working on your project or personal development. Instead open up for insights, tools, and signs which are coming up in the process of walking toward your goals.
Don’t doubt but open up your mind!
Success is to live your purpose! Your purpose can change depending on your age, your family situation, and your personal evolution! We have so many purposes in life. And one lived purpose gives you the necessary experiences that lead you to the next one. You don’t need to know what your purpose will be in 10 years. You simply have to live what seems right and important for you now. The next step will unfold right out of that at the perfect time.
When you start walking a new path doubts are likely to appear. You are taking a new direction which you have no experience with. You have to get familiar with the abilities you need to develop or improve. You are encountering new spheres and new kinds of people, and most of all you get introduced to parts of yourself that you have never known before. That irritates me in the beginning. But don’t worry that’s normal – it is simply new! And being confused about all of this is the best proof that things reorder and that you are about to change your world according to the change of your consciousness. Your intention to expand yourSelf, to improve yourSelf, and to simply evolve your life with yourSelf is the fuel for success in whatever you do!
Success is to keep an open mind for whatever you want to accomplish, for whatever dream you want to realize. Believe that this dream or vision only exists because you brought it into this world. It is a reminder of your soul and says: Don’t forget what you wanted to do. I remind you because it is meant to be. Come on, it’s time now!
There are so many things lying dormant within us to call us when the time has come to go for this new adventure. When you feel to go about a new project then start to take the first step in that direction. You don’t need to know the whole plan. Just start somewhere. Now keep your eyes, ears, and heart open. Watch the signs of the beginning development and grab them. They lead you to more ideas and after a while, you will see more and more of the whole picture. People will appear in your life, you will see headlines in magazines and newspapers, or you will hear someone talking which gives you right the catchwords you needed.
An open mind that looks into the direction of fulfillment is focused on manifestation and nothing else. Its intention is clear and strong. Then doubts are not weakening but even helping to stabilize the progress.
In Love and Light!
Love, what you do!
Part 3 of my success series is about the powerful energy of love – See part 2 Authenticity
When am I successful? It is when I am grateful and joyful in doing what feels like an eternal flame burning in my heart. Doing something that is joyful to you and simultaneously brings joy into other people’s lives is the greatest fulfillment and success you can have in life. When you do what you do with love, things work faster and easier. Doing something with love makes you more concentrated and focused, and keeps you at the moment.
Love is the highest and greatest force in the universe. Everything that has been developed, raised, or improved by love has the seed of eternity inside. Whatever was made with the breath of love owns a divine core. Since we are all divine beings love is the basis of our existence. It is the essence of who we really are. We were born out of God’s love and we are what we come from. So when we think, talk, act, and create we should do it from this place of love inside of us. Then we put the spark of love into everything we do, which spreads the energy of love. Everything that contains this divine love is filled and nurtured with the greatest supportive power that is available.
There are often things we don’t like to do or are even scared of. Sometimes we can avoid situations and persons. But sometimes we can’t. If you try to resist something you cannot prevent then your inner tension will only grow and make things worse. Whenever something like that is challenging you to make a conscious decision and say to yourself: I have to face what’s coming up. I decide to change my inner concept and let love flow into this talk/task/event. I will love what I do and I know that I will be given the greatest support. In letting love flow through my thoughts and actions things will always turn out perfect.
The decision to let love flow into your projects transforms the quality of your approach. Fear, anger, and ignorance simply dissolve and are replaced by a peaceful and deep knowing that all is well. A challenge faced with love makes you steadfast and is already an insight into which you grow and which strengthens you. It expands your faith in yourSelf and in the divine power you are connected with. At the moment you open up for love you also open up the channel for the divine flow. Divinity will flow through you and into everything you touch.
Let love be the companion of your thoughts, the inspiration of your creations, and the engine of your daily actions. With love as a carpet you walk on your visions and ideas will manifest faster and more exactly since they are born out of the deepest and purest spirit that you truly are. A project aligned with divine love will always succeed!
Next week part 4 will have the title: Don’t doubt but open up your mind!
In Love and Light
In Part 1 I was talking about the belief in yourSelf. Today I want to show you the importance of being authentic.
Authenticity
Success is not simply getting approval and a shining figurine for your showcase.
It is to act and unfold your life from a place in your heart, where the potential and power of your self have been lying since you were born into this world. As soon as you act out of the nature of your being, you will be lavished with approval, honoring, and compliments. The difference is that you don’t necessarily need it anymore since your success has already been felt in simply doing what you are. When you do what you are, you are authentic. Authenticity radiates strength. And this true strength is what people like. Strength lets others feel comfortable in your presence. They want to be with you and want to be embraced by the radiation of your positive and uplifting energy. When you are authentic, real, and pure, then you are transparent. People will believe you and get inspired to live their own dreams and get successful in leading a fulfilled life in alignment with who they really are.
If you want to be respected, you need to respect who you are in the first place. Accept yourSelf with everything you are today. Show empathy for yourSelf. Be tolerant of yourSelf. Just love yourSelf the way you are. Today you are the best you ever with everything that lies inside of you. All your feelings, experiences, desires, knowledge, and behaviors have created this unique you, who you are. There is no one like you in the whole world and that makes you so special. Be proud of who you are. Cherish who you are. In loving yourSelf and the resulting authenticity you give others permission to do the same. In how you live your life you are always an example to others. The more authentic you are the more others feel liberation in being fearlessly authentic as well.
Say this affirmation and pass it on:
I am a shining being of God and I am here to bring light into the world.
Next week I am going to write about: Love, what you do!
In Love and Light
Last year during the Summer break I wrote a series called How to live a successful life. I am sure that 98 percent of you don’t know about it. Therefore I want to reblog the series for the following 5 Mondays. Here is an introduction with 5 successful inspirations I wrote for a magazine last year. It was the inspiration to do the series:
Read more ›I just finished writing my latest book which is about miracles. I thought I write a little about this today. What is a miracle? How and why do miracles happen? We all wished for a miracle at times and I know that some of my friends are doing it right now.
What is the definition of a miracle? I’d say it is a surprising, unexpected, sometimes strongly wished occurring happening, turn, encounter, or “coincidence”. Of course, we only talk about a miracle when it shows a positive result. If we experience a negative happening we talk about bad luck, karma… But in the end negative like positive has the same root with two different outcomes.

I also talked about the magic tool of getting still, listening to the wisdom of our hearts, and then align our thoughts with this inner knowing.
Actually as children we were used to listen to our hearts first and our thoughts did not really play an important role in that game. We perceived without judging anything and stored it in our mind. But when time went on we were taught HOW we had to perceive things, persons, happenings, ourselves, our life, our future. We were taught to be this or that, behave this or that way, what is good or bad, and even what we prefer or dislike! But would have been within us already. Read more ›
I recently posted a quote titled Who Am I? It said: Realizing who you are, does not mean finding out who you are!
We mostly notice that at times we are feeling something in certain situations which is not for our benefit. That can be anger, jealousy, greed, frustration, or resistance. And we don’t even know why we feel it. It is coming up like a reflex when a certain person calls or when we are confronted with repeating issues or happenings. Then these emotions show up and take over instantly and we feel helpless doing anything against them. But we know exactly that we don’t want it, that it is in our way, and that it would make our life so much easier without them. But how to get there?

My most impressive string of unfolding in order to come to new unfolding is the story of how I came to write my book I’m Free and so much that followed. It is a huge story. When you read my book then you find lots of examples in it from my own life of how to break free. I am currently writing a new book which is about miracles. The story I want to tell you today is mentioned in that book and it is still a miracle to me. But at the same time, it is only a part of a far bigger miracle that still seems to unfold.

It is amazing to see these fluffy seeds drifting away with the wind and gently landing somewhere in order to become a new dandelion. Although gardeners are not happy having them in their gardens dandelions show in a very clear picture how to spread a part of themselves in order to secure the survival of their kind.
What is our purpose in life? A question I asked myself to no end, until I found out that I don’t have to search for it. The answer lies within me. I am here to manifest myself in the outside world – first with my body, than with my actions and further with what I leave for others. The way I walk through life leaves something wherever I put my foot on. Isn’t it the greatest wish of all of us, to leave something in this world in order to make ourselves an important or unforgettable part? Isn’t it the greatest fulfillment to complement the world with something only the individual hast to give?
Therefore it is so important not to be someone others want you to be. Because if you try to give something that is not part of yourself, you will get frustrated, disappointed by yourself and feel failing because you don’t meet the expectations of what you think is asked from you. You could never get it done, since you can only give away what you have. But there is not only something, there is so much you have to give – so much only you have to give. Think of musicians. Music is something that accompanies us all the time; in our happy days, at sad times, when we celebrate something. When we hear a certain song we remember episodes or chapters in our lives. Music and the people who deliver this music do a great job for us. And although there are so many musicians in the world, every single one of them has a certain style or way of making music.
It doesn’t matter what you brought into this world, whether it is the wish to heal, to build houses, to invent things, to raise kids, to save the environment, create furniture, fly an airplane, or whatever. It contains a part of you, which makes it unique and incomparable although others might also fly a plane, raise kids, heal, or build houses. Whatever you give as something you brought into this world has your unique touch and leaves your footprint in this world. If you don’t do it, it will be missing.
Show us what you carry inside. Share your abilities and passion with us. Be a role model for others and unfold your being. You not only will experience the greatest fulfillment but you will also succeed. Because you only carry inside what you are meant to give away. You intended to make yourself visible, that’s your purpose. Do it your way! In doing it your way you set something very important free: Enthusiasm, joy, passion, love. You will experience deep satisfaction and happiness combined with a peaceful mind. Because in giving your gift you let it flow on a stream of who you are. And who you are is pure love including happiness, enthusiasm, joy, passion.
Make it like a dandelion and spread your seeds. Take a deep breath and blow your spirit into the world. We live forever. And in leaving a part of our creative and loving power we can even become kind of immortal in this world of change.
In Love and Light!
During the marketing campaign for my book, I’m Free – Awareness of Who You Are by Discovering Who You are not I was invited to write a guest blog on http://www.spiritandplace.wordpress.com. Yesterday my article has been published. I would love you to take a look and read the article My Journey and of course, check out the blog!
In Love and Light!
What an amazing weekend lies behind me! Three days of being around the beautiful people of my publisher, talking to people at the booth, signing books, and holding two lectures about what I love most: the beauty, power, and love we carry inside!

But at times I stop and think, what was before! What was before the telephone (or the telegraph) was invented? And I am not talking about cell phones but the real beginning. What was before we had electricity? And how did someone get the idea of inventing it? What happened to make someone think of inventing electric light? How did someone get the idea of taking photos? I mean how do you get the idea of something no one knows or has seen or heard of before?

In this chapter, I write amongst others about ignorance and other characteristics which have a negative touch. Hearing that word most people might think of negative intolerant behavior. Actually, it simply is a characteristic that too often appears in a negative way.

This poem also contains the basic lyrics of my song I would do it again!, which I performed at my book presentation of the German version of I’m Free.

Part 3 of my success-series is about the powerful energy of love – See part 2 Authenticity
When am I successful? It is when I am grateful and joyful in doing what feels like an eternal flame burning in your heart. In doing something that is joyful to you and simultaneously brings joy into other people’s lives is the greatest fulfillment and success you can have in life. When you do what you do with love, things work faster and easier. Doing something with love makes you more concentrated and focused, and keeps you in the moment.

I just remembered an episode in my life which made me think about the phrases above. I still believe in them and I still live them, but they are holding a risk when you lose contact with yourSelf. If you start following your dreams only because you think: “I bring to an end what I began” then you could make yourSelf a slave of your vision.
When I was a teenager I saw myself sitting in a TV show being interviewed by someone. I also wanted to be a famous pop singer. Also when I was 14 years of age I felt a big empathy I wanted to help others to activate their happiness and potential. In my mid-thirties, when my youngest child was 2 years old, I felt a flame glowing, saying: The time has come to follow a new purpose. I knew it wasn’t a new purpose but something that by then had already spread its roots. But what was there lying inside of me? Somehow I was afraid to look too deep into it. Because when I found out, I might have to do things I never did before. And that scared me. I still was full of self-doubt and the opinion of others about my person had more weight than what I felt about myself. Deep down I knew who I am. But that did not correspond with the comments of other important people in my life. Since I did not dare to stand behind myself and my opinion that was totally confusing. I was afraid, that if I followed my inner call which started to get louder, I might get criticized or even laughed at.
The flame grew bigger and I started to take a little first step. I did research and found lots of interesting education like Homoeopathy, Kinesiology, Aromatherapy, Metamorphose, Reincarnationtherapy, and lots more. So where to start…? I also had to keep in mind that I still have a family of five to take care of (at that time my kids were 2, 5, and 9) a house, and a big garden. Some educations were very expensive and took several years of intense work. That was too much! I was overwhelmed.
Was I only too scared of doing something new or was it simply not time yet for a big project? I was so confused: on one hand, I felt a new task waiting for me, combined with my pride of wanting to show others my flexibility and abilities, and on the other hand the fear and also the stress I felt crawling up my chest and taking my breath.
Although at that moment I did not know anything about any spiritual laws, I stopped and got still for a moment. In a natural reflex, I asked mySelf: What shall I do, what feels good to me? All of a sudden I fell in a state of total inner peace and I knew that I wouldn’t take this new path now. I realized that again I was about to do something for the approval of my surrounding. Yes, I had this dream, this yearning but I didn’t feel ready at all to go for it with all its consequences. First of all, I wanted to be a mother and take the time for my kids, make a nest for my family and care for them. I did not want them to be with babysitters or me to be too busy to be with them. I truly knew that this time it wasn’t an escape but a knowing that at the moment it is not yet my purpose to go big. When I realized that I made a decision for mySelf and for my surrounding I felt so strong, so liberated and so clear about myself.
But nevertheless, I did start … in a different way. Since I already had a name as a singer, I started to force that which was in perfect harmony with my husband’s schedule. Within the following 2 to 3 years I joined some weekend seminars, made the 1st and 2nd grade of Reiki, and became a Spiritual Healer. I went to lectures and read tons of books about self-development and spirituality.
Today, another 6 years later, I have a practice for Aromatherapy and Self-development, wrote 4 books, work on my first CD, speak in front of audiences, and had interviews on radios and on television. I am realizing my teenage visions! Without knowing I was listening to my soul. I did not question if I should follow my dream (as I used to), but which way I shall do it. I did it my way, according to the way it fits into my life and with the speed I wanted.
It was important to always check back with my soul, which step to take and how fast I shall move on. The journey I had to go through first was the important part to lose my fear and my self-doubt. It was important to collect information, experience, and knowledge. All the little steps prepared me to fill my backpack with all the tools I needed.
It is not (always) about the destination but first and foremost about the path you choose to walk towards a destination. And it is important to walk it your way, no matter how many u-turns or stops you make. It all is part of your personal journey to your personal evolution. Your life is your creation. What techniques do you use and how much time do you need or want is exactly matching with who you are. No one but you can judge it.
Yes, follow your heart, listen to your inner voice, and live your dream! But always in alignment with yourSelf! I promise: This way you will succeed in perfection!
In Love and Light
I am sure that is a question each one of us is asking at times. Perhaps every day. Sometimes we are questioning if our job or what we are used to to for years is part of our purpose since it doesn’t feel what we think a purpose is supposed to feel: fulfilling, joyful, successful!
